This charming story has won 14 awards with an additional 3 nominations! Marty won an Award of Achievement for her narration at the Iowa Motion Picture Awards which is an award not usually given. We also talk about a disease she has that runs in her family called Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) or brittle bone disease. She and many people in her family have this disease but they never let it stop them from living their dreams and living life to its fullest! When I was watching the closeup of his hand with the pick, I noticed that he was playing with both the pick and his fingers. I asked him about that and he said that's called "Hybrid Picking". I didn't know you could do that. I thought it was one or the other. I was thinking about the concentration and skill it must take to do this.
