Putting yourself into your photography is kind of like cooking. Like garlic, you're tasty and flavorful and should be in every dish you cook and shot you take.

In this episode I tell the story of how one question (what would a better wildlife photographer do?) helped me improve, fast. Asking myself "What would a better wildlife photographer do" has been the single most helpful concept and mantra for my growth all the way from a lil' beginner to a big ol' whopper photographer.

Hey yall, this episode is part one of "About Going Pro". This one is going to show you that there are a ton of options out there to make a life and career around wildlife photograph- sometimes not even becoming a professional wildlife photographer. There's already a ton of info out there on how to become a traditional professional wildlife photographer, but I want to tell you about allll the other options you can look into. Maybe you become a wildlife photography instructor, a guide, or maybe you sell prints at local art festivals. Maybe you do something crazy like Pro Photographer Morten Hilmer and take on a chef job in another country so in all your off time you can shoot (I tell the full story in this episode). Q&A Episode coming up next so if you got Qs I got As. Send them questions right on down to untamedwildlifephotos@gmail.com or hit me up on IG @adrianj.untamed.

This is Untamed Wildlife Photography! This intro gives a quick run down of what to expect from this podcast. We are going to be setting up goals and then smashing them. I'll be sharing my steps and processes to better wildlife photos. I have a STRONG belief that 90% wildlife photography is actually what happens off camera and out of Lightroom. We're going to focus on improving ourselves in the field, becoming more creative and planning our shots on a level you didn't even know was possible.

Are you telling stories with your wildlife photography? Are they good stories? Do they need to be better stories? Well, I got the goods on that.
