Amber Jordan, caught up in all the endless struggles and disappointments of the past 21 years, is convinced her life is not worth living. Jeff Mustard (Playwright) is a writer and producer for various media, Jeff’s work in print, radio, television, and stage has been published and produced locally, regionally, and nationally. He has written two prestigious historical-fiction pilot television shows in recent years, both of which have earned multiple TV industry accolades. During the pandemic and following the George Floyd Murder, he wrote and produced a six-track album, Enough with Equal Justice Studios, addressing society's racial and social inequities. Dennis Gersten (Director) is the co-artistic director of Theatre Unlimited in the Noho Arts
District in L.A. He is a founding member of the Michael Chekhov Studio in L.A., and

Stagewrights, Inc. in NYC, as well as a teaching artist with Inside Out Community
Arts/P.S.Arts. He has directed and performed in many original and classic works, garnering
multiple awards.

Founded by playwright and filmmaker Bernadette Armstrong, Open-Door Playhouse is a Theater Podcast- like the radio dramas of the 1940s and 1950s. The Playhouse launched on September 15, 2020. At the time, Open-Door Playhouse provided Playwrights, Actors and Directors a creative outlet during the shutdown. Since its inception. Open-Door Playhouse has presented Short and One-Act plays from Playwrights across the country and internationally. In 2021 Open-Door Playhouse received a Communicator Award for Content for the Play Custody and in 2023 the play What’s Prison Like was nominated for a Webby Award in the Crime & Justice Category.

Plays are produced by Bernadette Armstrong, Sound Engineer is David Peters, sound effects are provided by Audio Jungle, and music from Karaoke Version. All plays are recorded at The Oak House Studio in Altadena, CA.
