Army veteran Earl Miguel has gone from serving our country to working in tech and writing childrens' books. The former special operations soldier has taken a unique path when it comes to his career. Instead of joining the military right out of high school, Miguel said he 'did it in reverse' and left a successful career as a graphic designer to join the military in his mid-20s. Then from transitioning off of active-duty, Miguel hit another hurdle. "I remember feeling like there's no way there's life after the military," he said. But with the help of @TheHonorFoundation and Miguel's large network of friends and colleagues, he eventually found the direction he is now heading in.
