How much does it take for you to be really happy? I started on a journey of self-evaluation of my relationship to material possessions in 2016. I am still in the middle of that self-evaluation. I think the evaluation will be a continual life process. There were two key events in my life that started me down this path. In todays podcast I talk about those two key events and give an update where I am in 2021. My prayer for each of us, is that we will live life with shallow tent pegs and decide to be free, to think and live independently, and to soar above the masses, and follow our King Jesus as champions who live lives of excellence, both in this life and the life to come!

As I was preparing the show notes today, I noticed that The Minimalists have a new documentary on Netflix, "The Minimalists: Less is Now." The link to the YouTube promo is here. I have not watched it yet, so I can't make any assessment about it or its content.

The ending quote, “Getting started is as simple as asking yourself one question: How might your life be better if you owned fewer material possessions?” is here.

(In the opening intro of this episode, Kenny mentions the Frothy Monkey Coffee House in beautiful downtown Franklin, Tennessee. Frothy Monkey has been a staple in the Nashville community since 2004. They were one of the first coffeehouses in Nashville and one of the cornerstone businesses to open in the transformed 12th South Nashville neighborhood. There are several locations in the greater Nashville area. If you are ever in the area stop by and enjoy! This is not a paid endorsement, we don't do that ! The place is just really good and cool!)
