The rich young ruler bowed his knees before Jesus as he repetitively questioned him, but he would not bow his heart to him. The unnoticed need that the rich young ruler had was the one roadblock to him gaining eternal life. Jesus’s response was spoken in love but painfully received by the man. The fulfillment of the lack is impossible with man, but Jesus leaves us with the encouraging words "All things are possible with God!" What a different world it would be if we would go all in with Jesus!
