Psalm 84:11, " No good things does he withhold from those who walk uprightly."

As strange as it may seem, for many of us who have trusted God for our salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ the Lord, we live in anxiety and fear that we are not going to make it when it comes to the basic needs of life. As much as we would like for this to NOT be so, it usually is the state of our hearts as we face daily living. God wants us to feel different about provision for earthly needs. Thomas Manton gives valuable insight into how we can change and be at peace for provisions. He concludes with these two admonitions: “with every bite of food we eat, we should say, ‘This is God’s gift to me’, and of every night’s sleep, ‘This is the Lord’s goodness to me’”. It’s simple/complex isn’t it? Difficult, yet easy if we get God involved. It all comes down God.
