Send us a text Dear Extrology Listeners, This is an episode that is a little out of the ordinary for Extrology - but a personal story I’ve been wanting to share with you all for a while. Yes, I have spent time going back and forth, considering whether it is the right topic to share on the podcast, changing my mind over and over again. But Extrology is all about sharing stories of overcoming adversity, adapting through change, and achieving the extraordinary. The countless guests I’ve been fortunate to entertain have, in many cases, had to dig incredibly deep to find the courage to share their own very personal battles. The least I can do is follow their shining example and put into practice the lessons I have learned from their courage. So it only seems right to share my journey as I battle with my Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis. My goal of this episode is to share how I’ve learnt to find strength in moments of uncertainty, to educate others on MS, and to inspire those who may be also struggling with the disease, or other health conditions, to find support and forge their own journey forward. Thank you for listening. I really appreciate it. Send us a text Hi I'm Lee Cooper; recruiter, connector, business owner, sport's junkie, coffee snob and best of all, Dad. I'm fascinated by what drives the human spirit, and am fortunate to enjoy a job which for 25 years has afforded me the opportunity to interview literally thousand's of inspiring people, from all walks of life. So rather than keep all the good stuff to myself, I figured, why not share the insight, the education and inspiration that can be gained from listening to those who've defied the odds to achieve the extraordinary. But success is such a subjective concept, the extraordinary even more so. It means different things based on different measures, to different people. The odds vary, as do the circumstances widely. The stories are unique, I wanted to understand what I could learn from those who have overcome their own unique odds, to achieve their own uniquely personal goals and to share that learning with you. That is how Extrology was born. Expect to hear from people across the spectrum, people who have risen to the challenges of life, family, community, education, health, business, sport, the arts, science, I am to ensure as wide of mix of the extraordinary as the 7.5 billion of us on this planet can muster. Come and celebrate the human spirit at https://www.extrology.com/ - I look forward to welcoming you there.
