LLAA is dedicated to helping former athletes (and business owners) feel strong, confident, and high performing again without endless running or perfect macros. In our discussion, we learn about how Spencer landed in his current role as an entrepreneur, break down some of the misinformation in the fitness industry, give some advice to entrepreneurs early on in the game, and he offers a few “top tips” for hitting your fitness goals. In this episode, we explore the philosophical conundrum of identity through the lens of Theseus's ship, which gradually transforms from wood to metal over time. As pieces are replaced, questions arise: When does the ship cease to be the same ship? The focus shifts from the physical changes to the underlying reasons driving them. Theseus's intentions and the ship's purpose become central, highlighting the importance of alignment with one's goals. Drawing parallels to personal growth, we examine how individuals evolve while retaining their core identity. Embracing change and understanding one's values are emphasized as essential for navigating life's challenges.
