Billy Berry would soon depart the band and it would take several albums for them to get their footing. This album has long been a favorite of David and Chris so much so that Chris agreed to review it. This one was very special for both of us.

His most recent book Take It Off: Kiss Truly Unmasked is dedicated solely to the post makeup era of Kiss. This book is great read even for the most casual Kiss fan. This band from Manchester would take the music world by storm with their sophomore album What's the Story Morning Glory?. Dave Chamberlin joins David this week to talk about the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers album ECHO. This is an album that was largely ignored by Petty and his band after it was released. The two Daves get into why this was such a sad and tragic time for the band. Heroin addiction, divorce, and a changing music business all contributed to the dark content of this album. Even with all of that going against it this is still one the brighter moments musically for Petty.
