#005. A few weeks ago a social media post, by someone we’d never heard of, went viral and popped up on Claire’s LinkedIn feed. And that was our first introduction to Emily. The image and what was written underneath prompted Claire to immediately get in touch to ask if Emily would be willing to share the story with us - and she said, yes!

Loss #5 of 101: Loss of a tooth

Emily’s social media post was an honest image and explanation of the loss of her front tooth, which resonated with thousands of people who flooded to ‘like’ it and leave comments.

However, Emily’s journey with loss involves a lot more than a tooth, and has been far from smooth. Involved in two nasty cycling accidents while a professional cyclist, Emily has had to endure mental and physical traumas, and her reaction to the latest loss - her tooth - took even her by surprise.
