Brianna James has amazing talent to match her amazing personality. She is a dancer. She is a choreographer. She is a Sacramento native. But most importantly, she has a story to tell. See, Brianna was sexually abused as a child. For years, the abuse was a secret. But Brianna found that the journey of being crippled with something out of her control was met with key people put in her life who let Brianna know how special she was. And today she is the creative force behind a 20-minute documentary called, "Here Lies the Truth." Let's just say ... she is just getting started.

In today's episode of Experience the Buzz, Host Steve Buzzard enjoys everything James brings to the table."Hands down ... Brianna James is amazing. I am so grateful that I was introduced to her and had the opportunity to have this conversation with such an incredible person." Our conversation hits THREE areas:

Segment ONE 💥 kicks off with talking about Sacramento. In fact, James becomes a spokesperson for Sac State and explains why it is a great option for those that live in the capital city. We finish the segment by talking about the word 'perspective.'
Segment TWO 💥 is all about "HERE LIES THE TRUTH" documentary. James goes into detail about the origin of the project and what it has to offer. Brianna shares her Big Picture idea beyond the documentary. James then opens up about her own sexual abuse as she talks about the important people who played a significant part in her healing. James finishes off by talking about why she loves working with the youth.
Segment THREE 💥 gives us insight to James life as a dancer. We find out more about her spot as a Party Starter at Rowdy as well as her time with the 916 Crew that danced at the Sacramento Kings games. Brianna addresses the comparison between being a choreographer versus being a dancer. And we finish in style with Rapid Fire 💥

Our Connection | When we met on Zoom for our interview, that was our first in-person meeting. Brianna was introduced to me by Erica Bliss Pattni of Rowdy and a guest on ETB (Episode 27). Such a great suggestion that turned into a great episode. Thank you Erica!
