A live playthrough of the tabletop roleplaying game Fiasco from Bully Pulpit Games. We build our very own Wild West scenario and watch it all inevitably fall apart. Aaron bullies, Brian schemes, and Colin is surprisingly good at accents.

We run the rule over miniature skirmish/football game hybrid Guild Ball - is it a critical hit or miss? We discuss rules and models, do some chanting, sing a little song and Brian runs a bonus "Banter!" round that was meant to be ironic until he got way too into it. The shame, the shame, shame...

We forgot to implant the shame gene into Aaron's clone replacement. Brian becomes obsessed with opening boxes. We also attempt photosynthesis noises and discover life is too short for Micheal Bay.

Trapped by a sinister madman, the Twits must podcast their way to freedom. Unfortunate, given that they couldn't fight their way out of a poorly-recycled paper bag during a particularly vicious downpour. Discussion of the tabletop RPG Call of Cthulhu, tension in horror games, inappropriate horror maze twisting, reverse screaming, and that most dreaded of childhood monsters: Pop Up Pirate. Thanks to DiscoveryME for Glitch & Static 01.
Wed, October 28, 2015
Humorous discussion of subterfuge in roleplaying and video games. Covering Batman's crying-about-your-parents minigame, that time Colin killed our gaming group, demonic bargains, the X-Files, and how to effectively punch a monkey. Correction: psychic tests are conducted using Zener cards, not Reiner cards - apologies to Karl Zener! Thanks to jamesabdulrahman for 'Permission to panic?'
