2024 Season Review!
This week is the season finale of Wylie Football Weekly! After this episode, keep an eye out for bonus episodes if anything interesting happens between now and next August, including an episode when the All-District teams are announced! In this episode, we go through some random thoughts before doing a review of the entire 2024 season, giving some early thoughts about 2025, and concluding with our tradition, reading off every name of every senior of this 2024 Pirates team! Breaking news: The CIVIL WAR game is moved UP to Thursday November 7!
This is a very short PSA episode to let everyone know that the Wylie at Wylie East game, the CIVIL WAR game, has been moved UP to Thursday, November 7 due to the risk of severe weather on Friday. Everything else stays the same, i.e., same time (7pm), and same location (Wylie ISD Stadium). Please tell everyone and anyone who needs to know! Wylie Football Weekly, the ONLY podcast dedicated to your Wylie Pirates Varsity Football Team, is back for Season 3 to cover the 2024 football season! Normally our first episode of the season would be a team/season preview a bit closer to the actual start of the season, but my research has uncovered some bits of news that are SO exciting that I HAD to record an episode now to share this news! Specifically, we are going to be talking about 3 super Sophomores who will very likely be taking their first varsity snaps this season and these might be the most exciting Sophomores in the history of Wylie Pirate Football. When you hear the episode, you will understand that what I am saying is NOT hyperbole! Check it out! We'll also discuss some random offseason thoughts I had percolating in my head.
