Alexander 'Superkiller' Solonik
Alexander Solonik was a Russian gangster, known for his reputation as a notorious hitman in the Russian criminal underworld. Also known as Sasha-Macedonian and Superkiller, Solonik admitted to committing 43 contract murders and was involved in Russian Mob activity for much of the 1990s until disappearing after his third escape from prison. The Death of Charles Walton
Charles Walton was found murdered on February 14th, 1945 in Warwickshire, England. The foremost police detective of the era, Chief Inspector Robert Fabian, led the investigation into Walton's death. The chief suspect for the murder was Alfred John Potter. However, there was insufficient evidence to convict Potter and the case is currently the oldest unsolved murder in the Warwickshire Constabulary records. Dr. Gary Simonds is a highly experienced neurosurgeon, former head of an academic neurosurgery program at Virginia Tech/Carilion Clinic. The Pitoni Skystones

Bodies in Lake Mead
On May 1st, a body was found inside a barrel at Lake Mead, just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. The remains were found near Hemenway Harbor. Investigators believe the victim was murdered sometime in the 1970's or early 80's. Officials say the victim died from a gunshot wound. Then, as Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department continues to investigate, on May 6th, a second set of human remains were located at Callville Bay. Police believe this victim was not murdered. The Curse of Reymeyer's Hollow
In 1928, under the advice of a woman named Nellie Noll aka The River Witch of Marietta, John Blymire believed that he had been cursed by Nelson Rehmeyer. Blymire and his accomplices broke into Rehmeyer's home to find his spell book and break the curse. They were unable to find the book, but did find Rehmeyer himself, whom they killed and mutilated in hopes that this would lift the curse. The three men then set fire to the house, hoping to remove remnants of the curse, as well as to destroy evidence of their murder. However, the house did not burn down as they had hoped. This led to many people further believing that Rehmeyer was a witch and that his power prevented the destruction of the house. In September 1974, 31 year old Michael Taylor and his wife Christine began attending a Christian Fellowship Group. Over the next few weeks, Michael became an enthusiastic member of the church. What happened next is difficult to gauge. Michael's breakdown, and his erratic behavior in the days that followed, led the church group to believe that an exorcism was in order. On October 5th, they subjected him to a battery of attempts to cast the demons out from him, screaming at him until around 7:00 the next morning. During the court case that followed, one of the preachers involved would state that they'd managed to exorcise over forty demons from Michael, leaving behind only three, associated with "murder, violence, and insanity." A few hours later, police were at the Taylors' home investigating a murder. Michael had been discovered roaming the streets naked, covered in blood and screaming about the Devil. The Gardner Museum Heist
In the early morning hours of March 18, 1990, thirteen works of art were stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. Jonathan Paul Luna was an American lawyer found dead under mysterious circumstances in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania while serving as an Assistant United States Attorney in Baltimore, Maryland. The Disappearance of Deborah Poe
Twenty-six-year-old Deborah Poe vanished on February 4, 1990, during the graveyard shift at the convenience store where she worked. Police verified that she had waited on customers until 3:05am. At 3:50am, her friend came to the store and found it empty. When police arrived, they found her work smock folded behind the counter. The cash register was locked and there was no evidence of a robbery. There also appeared to be no signs of a struggle. Her car was found parked in its usual spot and nothing appeared to be disturbed. The Death of Annie McCann
Annie was a 16 year old from Fairfax County, VA. On October 31st 2008, Annie failed to make contact with her parents at the end of the school day. Upon returning home, Annie's father received an automated telephone message from the school saying that Annie had never arrived at school that morning. Two days later on November 2, a person discovered Annie's lifeless body behind a dumpster, in the housing projects of Perkins Homes which is a high-crime Baltimore neighborhood over 50 miles away from Annie's hometown. At that point the investigation became the responsibility of the Baltimore Police Department, who were certain they were dealing with a homicide despite reporting "no signs of physical trauma" on the body. Among the garbage detectives located another item: an empty bottle of Bactine spray, with the lid removed. Another piece of evidence surfaced a few days later. Annie's white Volvo was found abandoned at a nearby gas station with no immediate signs of a struggle. Police were able to lift a single smeared print from the car, which they quickly matched to a known offender in their database: a local teenager named Darnell Kinlaw. During his interrogation, Darnell claimed that he and a few of his friends had found the Volvo with Annie inside by chance, and decided to take it for a joyride after depositing her body behind the dumpster where she was later found. He insisted that Annie was already deceased by the time they came across the vehicle and has consistently maintains to this day that neither he, nor his friends, had any involvement in her disappearance or death. Police carefully scrutinized the empty Bactine bottle that was found alongside her body. Even more significantly, Annie's DNA was found on the open rim, yet her fingerprints were nowhere to be found anywhere on the bottle. The manner of death was ruled a suicide. Gunner Lindbloom was born into the Tocco family of Detroit and became an enforcer by the time he was 20 years old. He was incarcerated for extortion, bank robbery, armed robbery, kidnapping, weapons violations, and several other crimes. Altogether, when he was arrested, he faced 17 capital crimes, but plea bargained them down for a 13-50 year sentence and served 13.3 years. While he was locked up he decided he wasn’t going to be another statistic. To that end he picked up a pen. He ended up writing several books in prison and became a very accomplished author. Megan Lancaster has been missing from Wheelersburg, Ohio since April 3, 2013. In 2020, former Portsmouth city council member and attorney Michael Mearan was arrested on a total of 18 charges spanning human trafficking, racketeering and compelling and promoting prostitution. The Lancasters believe Mearan had something to do with Megan Lancaster’s disappearance. Her sister-in-law, Kadie Lancaster, found names and phone numbers kept by her missing sister in color-coded notebooks. The Death of Josh Rubin

A Murder in Kalamark
On April 14th, 2004 - Roger Lindberg and his brother Sune were attacked in their home in Kalamark, Sweden. Sune survived while Roger did not. Within days the local police zeroed in on their suspect who was identified as Kaj Linna. He was charged and found guilty of the crime. On November 17, 1989 the body of an infant girl was found in Rupert, Idaho. This was not just any unsolved case though. I'm not really into conspiracy theories, but this case, is beyond weird!!! Tiffany Jenks was murdered on October 8th 2013, at the age of 35 – she was shot in the forehead, by someone she did not know and had apparently only met that night, shortly prior to her death. Or so the police say. What you need to know is that Tiffany Jenks’ case does indeed display all the stereotypical tell-tale signs of a mind control victim (or a victim of TMK, Total Mind Kontrol, as it is known in some circles): the evidence all points in that direction. She was a physically fit and beautiful woman; intelligent, a high-achiever and a college athlete; she had a top job; yet, she had drinking problems and, more significantly, mental problems. She also appears to have been quite a socially isolated person, despite her approachable personality. She would often hint at there being more to her than meets the eye…but it always remained ambiguous as to what exactly that was. The Death of Jacky Sutton
On October 18, 2015, former BBC journalist, Jacky Sutton was found hanged in a bathroom stall in Ataturk airport located in Istanbul. Her untimely death was ruled as an apparent suicide. Despite the conclusion of her death, it's the circumstances leading to this event that have people scratching their heads. Her supposed suicide went against not only her character, but her current occupation at the time. Furthermore, the reasoning for her suicide according to airport officials and the police, didn't make sense. The answer given was due to the lack of funds for her flight. The Death of April Tinsley - w/ Interview
For three decades, the abduction, rape and murder of 8-year-old April Tinsley in April 1988 had frustrated Indiana investigators. The mysterious killer's taunting messages admitting to the crime, scrawled on a barn door and on paper notes threatening to kill again, only added to the desire to solve the cold case. Still, no suspect could be found. But thanks to advances in genealogy and DNA technology, the suspected killer was arrested and then confessed to the crime, more than 30 years after April's death. John D. Miller, 59, was preliminarily charged with murder, child molesting and criminal confinement of a victim under 14. Police connected him to the homicide by using DNA from the scene of the murder and from the taunting messages, and inputting them into a genealogical database. DNA from Miller's garbage matched DNA from the crime scene and from the taunts, and when police brought him in for questioning, he confessed to the disturbing killing. Fernald would gain notoriety by 1984 when it was learned that the plant was releasing millions of pounds of uranium dust into the atmosphere, causing major radioactive contamination of the surrounding areas. That same year, employee Dave Bocks, a 39 year old pipefitter, disappeared during the facility’s graveyard shift and was later reported missing. Eventually, his remains were discovered inside a uranium processing furnace located in Plant 6; a sudden 28-degree drop in furnace temperature (which was kept at a constant 1300 degrees F) had been recorded at 5:15 AM during the night of Bocks’ disappearance. After the investigations, insufficient evidence was found relating to the death and the official ruling was that no foul play was involved. The Burger Chef Murders
It happened in November 1978 at the Speedway Burger Chef. A Friday night. Four employees on duty disappear; 16-year-old Daniel Davis, 16-year-old Mark Flemmonds, 20-year-old Jayne Friedt and 17-year-old Ruth Shelton. Initially, police in Speedway didn’t have much to go on. Since there was $500 taken from the cash register some investigators thought the employees may have taken the money and went out for the night. The four employees couldn’t be found. Early in the investigation, York says a mistake was made. The Burger Chef restaurant was cleaned up. Two days after the employees disappeared the worst case scenario appeared. Twenty miles south of Burger Chef a grisly discovery was made in a Johnson County field. Two bodies found. Daniel Davis and Ruth Shelton had been shot execution-style. Mysterious Killafornia - The Disappearance of Bryce Laspisa
On August 30, 2013, 19-year-old Bryce David Laspisa from Castiac California, went missing near Castiac Lake. After Bryce spent the summer with his parents, he appeared to be eager to start his sophmore year at Sierra College. Bryce’s friends however reported that he was drinking heavily and using prescription drugs during his first two weeks back on campus. He had also abruptly ended the relationship with his girlfriend and was under the influence the night he left campus. Also troubling was that Bryce had reportedly gaven away some of his possessions, including diamond earrings from his mother, before going on the road. The drive to his parent’s house should have only taken Bryce a few hours, however he was on the road for over 20 hours. During this timeframe, Bryce had his car serviced, he talked to his parents on several occasions and was even questioned by police. Everyone that spoke with Bryce, in-person and on the phone, insists that he was lucid during this strange timeframe. Police found it strange that Bryce was reluctant to call his parents on the phone and Bryce even told his mother not to come pick him up. Bryce mentioned to his parents he had something important that he wanted to discuss with them, however refused to give more information. What is it that Bryce wanted to talk his parents about and why was he reluctant to get home? These questions are central to the investigation for the police and also for the private investigator who have been working with Bryce’s parents. Bryce’s 2003 beige Toyota Highlander was found overturned. His laptop and wallet were still inside the vehicle. The back window of the vehicle had been removed and Bryce’s blood was located on the seats. Buford Pusser was the “Walking Tall” sheriff, famous for his frequent violent run-ins with local lowlifes and gangsters. But by August 21, 1974, he was retired and a Hollywood celebrity, driving away from his hometown county fair in a new Corvette he’d bought with money from his first Walking Tall movie. His daughter, who followed a few minutes behind, did indeed come upon the burning wreck of his car, with Buford dead beside it from a broken neck. Authorities claimed that Buford died because he was driving too fast, had too much to drink, and wasn’t wearing his seat belt. But few people in Adamsville believed that. To them, the crash, and Buford’s death, was not an accident. Investigators said that the fire made it impossible to know if the car had been tampered with. Part 1 of 2 - The Death of Buford Pusser
Buford Pusser was elected sheriff of McNairy County, Tennessee, on a platform of cleaning up the county, which was regarded as the most corrupt, crime-ridden county in the state, if not the U.S. by some local citizens. According to locals, several organized-crime rings, based mainly in Nashville, ran the criminal enterprises in McNairy County, including gambling, prostitution, bootlegging, narcotics, auto theft, etc. Pusser was a former amateur wrestler while living in Chicago, who locals perceived as tough as nails and incorruptible, which was a major departure from the image some prior local officials had. Although there were never any witnesses, Pusser claimed there were several attempts to carry out a contract on his life. The most serious incident occurred when the car he and his wife was riding in was ambushed; his wife was killed and he was shot in the chin requiring substantial surgery and a major facial reconstruction to repair his chin as well as damage caused in several high speed accidents. Pusser died in 1974 when the Corvette he was driving veered off the road at over 100 mph and crashed. Though It was officially ruled an accident, some locals believed he had been deliberately run off the road in a successful assassination attempt. On April 8, 1994, Kurt Cobain, the lead singer of the grunge band Nirvana, was found dead at his home in Seattle, Washington. Forensic analysis at the time determined he had killed himself on April 5. The Seattle Police Department incident report states: "Kurt Cobain was found with a shotgun across his body, had a visible head wound and there was a suicide note discovered nearby." The King County Medical Examiner noted puncture wounds on the inside of both the right and left elbow. The Disappearance of Nieko Lisi
Neiko Lisi was last seen in Addison, New York on September 30, 2011. He and a 20-year-old friend, Robert Knight, stopped at Lisi's uncle's home at 2:00 p.m. and said they were going to Buffalo, New York to possibly go camping. Lisi had phone contact with his family the next day. He has never been seen or heard from again. On the morning of October 1, Knight arrived at his parents' home in Romulus, Michigan. He said Lisi had dropped him off there, but no one actually saw Lisi. On October 3, Lisi's mother got his driver's license in the mail. Someone had found it on a street in Hornell, New York, about fifteen minutes from Lisi's home, and mailed it back. His Facebook page had been shut down without warning around that same time. Lisi's family reported him missing on October 5, and the Michigan police questioned Knight on October 8. While he was being interviewed, the police decided to take him to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. Knight was released from the hospital the next day. At 8:00 p.m. on October 10, he was found dead of a drug overdose at his parents' home. Authorities haven't said whether they think Knight's death is related to Lisi's disappearance. The pickup truck Lisi had been driving in when he vanished could not be found after his disappearance. In July 2016, four and a half years after Lisi's disappearance, authorities finally located it, completely stripped down and locked inside a garage in a private home in Franklin, Tennessee. Dorothy Jane Scott was a single mother in 1980 who kept receiving mysterious phone calls at her job in Anaheim, California. Dorothy thought the voice sounded familiar, but she could never place it. The caller threatened to cut her into pieces and let her know he knew exactly where she was every minute of the day. Alarmed, Dorothy took up karate. It didn't help her. One night she attended a meeting and became alarmed at the appearance of a coworker. Dorothy and another coworker took their friend to the ER to get checked out. According to legend, as a young man living on a plantation in rural Mississippi, Robert Johnson had a tremendous desire to become a great blues musician. He was instructed to take his guitar to a crossroad near Dockery Plantation at midnight. There he was met by a large black man (the devil) who took the guitar and tuned it. The devil played a few songs and then returned the guitar to Johnson, giving him mastery of the instrument. This was a deal with the devil mirroring the legend of Faust. In exchange for his soul, Johnson was able to create the blues for which he became famous. Johnson died on August 16, 1938, at the age of 27, near Greenwood, Mississippi, of unknown causes. The Amber Hagerman Story
On January 13, 1996, nine-year-old Amber Rene Hagerman (November 25, 1986 – January 17, 1996) was abducted while riding her bike in Arlington, Texas. A neighbor who witnessed the abduction called the police, and Amber’s brother Ricky went home to tell his mother and grandparents what happened. It’s often believed that Hagerman’s murderer kept her alive for at least two days. Richard Hagerman and Amber’s mother, Donna Whitson (now Donna Norris), called the news media and the FBI. The Whitsons and their neighbors began searching for Amber. Four days after the abduction, near midnight, her body was found in a creek behind an apartment complex – with cut wounds to her neck. Police visited Williams's home during the afternoon of Monday 23 August 2010, as a "welfare check" after colleagues noted he had been out of contact for several days. His decomposing naked remains were found in a red The North Face bag, padlocked from the outside, in the bath of the main bedroom's en-suite bathroom. The police had gained entry into his top floor flat in Alderney Street, Pimlico at around 16:40. His family believe that crucial DNA was interfered with and that fingerprints left at the scene were wiped off as part of a cover-up.
