Scott Sheffield is a researcher of Indigenous Military History, Father, Husband, author and associate professor of history at the University of the Fraser Valley.

Scott has been married to his wife Kirsten for 27 years, and they have two sons. Scott Sheffield is involved with two different research projects at the University of the Fraser Valley. The first is the culmination of almost two decades of research and publication on the subject of Indigenous people and the Second World War. The second is focussed on the experience of the Second World War in British Columbia. Mr. Sheffield has published 2 books as sole or lead author, and a third in which he was a major co-author.
