MainFrames, Last Breath & Paradise

School Incident and Events, Inform Yourself for your Kids
While many things in life are out of our hands, being as informed as possible is a great step to staying ahead and prepared for the unknown nature of life. This week we had to deal with a bomb threat warning at my kids school. Thankfully everyone is ok and this had me reflecting on a few things. My wife and I have been pretty involved with the school staff within the district we live in for many years. This has helped us stay informed and sometimes get a heads up to various things. Purpose Beyond Parenting

I read 2 series from Inio Asano. Downfall & Solanin were both very heavy reads and they complemented each other well. Downfall is a look at a person who achieved success but is now looking back on regrets of the past. Solanin is about those unsure of what the future holds and sometimes taking for granted a future that isn't promised. Both of these were needed reads as I reflected both on the last year of me podcasting but also looking at my own past and future.
