Hey, y'all! This last week gave us one hell of a gift seeing as how the Cali Secretary of State released their list of nominees for the upcoming recall. So today, we'll be going over as many of the 41 candidates as we can/want to. And sure, Gavin Newsom may not lose his job, but if he does, what Democrats will be there to take his spot? What options do progressives have? And which Republicans have the best chance to swoop in and become California's first GOP governor since the last recall?

Update: So, when we first made this episode, Larry Elder had been denied ballot access and we assumed it'd stay that way. Since he's now not just on the ballot, but leading polls, we're planning an episode all for him the first week of September.
