Eyes closed, heart open. Press play, find a quiet space, and let this conversation inspire you to explore the healing potential of visualization. This episode offers an opportunity to reflect on the power of imagination and voice as tools for healing and transformation. May it guide you inward to reconnect with your voice, your imagination, and your sense of self. Today we welcome guest, Soha Al-Jurf, a voice specialist, depth psychologist, and founder of Voice Coaching for Creatives. Soha combines her expertise in vocal performance and Jungian psychology to help women reconnect with their voices and heal their minds. Learn the transformative role of visualization in calming the nervous system, fostering self-discovery, and breaking free from the constant external stimulation of modern life. And how visualization can serve as a flexible alternative to traditional meditation, particularly for individuals who struggle with stillness. At the end of the episode, Soha guides listeners through a visualization to visit their sacred inner sanctuary—a deeply personal and grounding practice designed to foster connection, clarity, and calm. What We Discuss The unique ability of visualization to "empower you to go inward" and find stillness. Why different meditative practices work for different personalities, and how visualization can be particularly effective for those with vivid imaginations. The connection between visualization and the collective unconscious, and how guided practices can help access deeper layers of the psyche. The role of rhythm, sound, and even the voice itself in facilitating altered states of awareness and connection. ABOUT THE PODCAST: This minimalist wants more. Artificial intelligence in action is still in its infancy. When AI seems real, human, and like someone you'd trust, it's a perplexing reaction. Spiritual entrepreneur Keira Poulsen's pretty gnarly resume includes owning Freedom House Publishing Co., creating The Awaken Program Mastermind, hosting The Awaken Podcast, and writing the book “Rise Up and Awaken to the Joy of Being Human”. Keira sat down on the Enough-ism Podcast to talk about her life’s mission: to wake women up to their greatness through the power of writing. Keira specifically helps women publish their own books — in about two months! The focus of this work, however, isn’t about putting pen to paper or fingers to keyboard. It’s about how the process of great writing is the concurrent process of a great awakening. And that the best writing comes from a place of openness, where your flow state is activated and your spirit feels charged up to empower others. “I teach women how to create successful businesses of light spiritually, from the message in their book,” Keira told Enough-ism. “That way they don’t just write a book, publish it, and then it just, like, ends up in a closet in their house. If there’s a message that needs to come through, it also needs to be a business because that is how you impact the world,” she explained. ABOUT THE SHOW: This minimalist wants more. During the pandemic, Mike Vardal, who works in computers and lives in Connecticut with his wife and four kids, was feeling pent up creatively. Mike was in need of some laughter. So, in April of 2020, he created the comedy show Vardalia Onions and a series called "Dogs of Town Hall" on YouTube. Here, he writes and films video skits with his family. From singing Cyndi Lauper parodies ("Dads Just Want to Have Fun") to Katy Perry remakes and Ozzie Osbourne mashups, Mike's channel has helped him and his family thrive. Mike’s here to talk about how creativity (and wigs and puppets and talking stuffed animals) curbs anxiety for him and his family and how to tap into your unbridled childlike sense of joy. | ABOUT THE SHOW: This minimalist wants more. Want to win the lottery? It may not matter how many tickets you buy. The winning numbers may be rigged, determined outright before any drawing even takes place. But that’s not the important part. What is? Winning lottery numbers may provide clues about catastrophic events and deadly tragedies to come. Harold Rosen, author of “Lottery Corruption, U.S.A”, believes the lottery is being illegally manipulated and controlled. He’s worked in a consulting capacity with the government and was a member of several law enforcement committees. Come along with me to explore his fascinating 9/11 theories and evidence in an episode that may challenge your perceptions of what it means to be mindful regarding the world around you and how it operates. | ABOUT THE SHOW: This minimalist wants more. You're an architect of thought. Yes, you. (We latch onto several thousand thoughts a day, after all.) Usually, these thoughts are ones we've just got on repeat. Laura Ballet, a mind/body development instructor, life empowerment coach, and author/podcast host of "The Science of Empowerment", has a pretty cool formula she's used for over a decade on how to use awareness of learning to create a new language for yourself. "The ego can motivate you and propel you toward achieving objectives, but it can also be bad in that it can make you feel like I want to be a celebrity Instagram influencer.” David Somerfleck, digital marketing expert from DMS.Blue and fellow podcaster, is here to talk about the intersection of mindfulness and corporate. We also chat on how most businesses statistically will never make it, the benefits of remote work, how to build a better RFP, and the entropy of the greater American workplace model. David wants to inspire people to break free from life’s hamster wheel and live a life that serves you (one that’s not filled with distractions but with purpose and power). Many people, he says, remain trapped by hollow dreams of success. David — who believes Henry David Thoreau’s Walden should be considered essential business reading for leaders — says that when making business decisions, it’s about being connected to your higher purpose -- what you really want to attract for your life longterm -- rather than acting out of fear. We also mention: Elon Musk, Times of India, Yahoo, Google, Forbes, and (because we're both English Literature nerds!), George Orwell and Henry David Thoreau. --- Music from Uppbeat (free for Creators!): https://uppbeat.io/t/zayner/falling License code: RZBKS25VKRH3FS6V — ABOUT THE SHOW: This minimalist wants more. "Change doesn't happen from leaders or the people with the most followers. It's sometimes the people with the most anonymity who create the most change." -- Jonathan Rivera, a minimalist and conversational activist. Jonathan uses a technique called “extreme listening”. Here, he engages openly with people he disagrees with to find commonality. Jonathan brings people together who have different mindsets to sit together at a table and share their perspectives. His mission? To encourage others to learn why someone’s unique experiences shape what they think and how they feel about certain topics and issues. It's not about focusing on differences, he says, but on common ground. One of Jonathan's most memorable experiences was meeting a politician he didn’t see eye-to-eye on. “Even though I disagreed with him on a lot of what he said, I was still able to find commonality and something we both shared a passion on. I left the conversation with a friend,” he tells Enough-ism. Learn more about conversational activism and extreme listening in this unforgettable episode of Enough-ism. "I believe that the world would be greatly enriched if people more often allowed themselves to step into their authenticity. The real you, the one you are comfortable being when you feel inspired, is the one that the world needs to see." So says empath and life coach, Julian Richard. Julian, who started meditating when he was 16, is here to discuss what it’s like being an empath and how meditation sparks compassion. If you often feel like you don’t fit in, if you’re overstimulated by people or environments, or if you have a tendency to be shy, you may be an empath.
