In her second novel, Courage Without Grace, main character Josie Wales, a palm reader in DC, finds the courage to face her future, and to face a secret from her past. In this IGTV episode, Jeannie reads Fern’s palm! And discusses a letter of recommendation she received from none other than Ben Bradlee. The letter is handwritten and includes a word that, for 30 years, Jeannie hasn’t been able to decipher. And either can anyone else. Iken lost her husband Michael, who was a bond broker in the World Trade Center, on 9/11. A Sign from the Other Side in a Photo with Danika Miller
Danika Miller shared a photo on Twitter and said “This is one of the very few pictures I have taken with both of my parents since my brother passed away 7 years ago. And look who decided to show up for the family photo. Published in 1944, Nosso Lar: Life in the Spirit World by Chico Xavier tells the story of doctor Andre Luiz and his life on the other side, and what he learned while on earth. Sicily passed two months after the book was released and the signs started flooding in, culminating in an undeniable birthday message from the other side. Her most recent novel The Thing Is, a romantic comedy that deals with the nature of grief when a blocked and depressed romance writer has her life unwittingly changed by a crafty therapy dog, a Yorkshire terrier named Prozac with supernatural insights into the human condition. When psychologist Peggy DeLong was 26 years old and about to start her doctoral program, her fiance was diagnosed with cancer. He did not live to see their wedding day and, six weeks after his passing, Peggy's father also passed unexpectedly.
