Season 1 : Episode # 50 - Vibe higher with emotional intelligence In this episode, we focus heavily on emotions and how they are simply energy or vibrations on a scale. We dissect their understanding of them in order to gain a deeper understanding of how to vibrate or shift higher on your emotional scale. We all have a baseline of emotions that we are typically running within. It is within the awareness of that baseline or sense of awareness of how and what we feel that enhances our intelligence and control to change it. We move through emotions not around or bypass them. It is through the feelings that we gain a new baseline or richness of emotional states that are more enjoyable or "vibrating higher". Sometimes those shifts are not to the over-focused upon positive emotions like "happiness, joy, or enthusiasm" but more of a softer or neutral emotion instead, and that is perfectly fine and right if it is for you. We all can use a little life balance but what if the idea of how to create balance is the process getting in the way of the actual balance? Life overall has so many subcategories within it to balance, it's not so easy to say I need "work-life balance" and actually do it when work and life are not divided and cover so many things. At the end of the act of balancing life, we all aim to reach harmony, peace, contentedness or feeling more at ease or fulfilled with the life we are living. We may however be trying to create a balanced life around the things we can not control such as political positions or the country's economical standings. I believe then we have not found the true meaning in balance if it is disrupted by those things we can not control. The attachment is evident as we grieve or suffer when they are lost or gone from our life. As Zen Buddhism teaches - attachment is the root of suffering. Season 1 : Episode # 34 - The energy of words & hidden meanings Dr. Masaru Emoto a Japanese scientist demonstrated the power of words and how words vibrate and create energy through their use. In this exposed we look at the more less common aware words that we use in our conversation that have a negative context to them and may be getting in the way of our goals. Always & Never - these words are extremes of one and another and are rarely true. "Always" meaning all the time, and "Never" meaning not occurring in time Statements with the word "never" are rarely ever true. When we use the word never the definition is that this has not occurred in this life time. examples would be... "My husband never talks to me" "My mom never pays attention to me" "I never get picked on for good things" When communicating in relations, in conflict and even with ourselves we want to watch for these words and what we are saying with them. Another word would be the word "Try" and this is a tricky one. Many may not know this one but the word "Try" has a bit of a negative context on it. Indicating a helplessness - typically but not "always". The word "try" indicates that you attempt but do not succeed. For example if I dropped my pen and told you to "Try to pick up my pencil" you don't "try" you just do it. Episode # 33 - Learning to enjoy the journey of life experiences. We have all heard it "Life is a journey" or "it's all about the journey and not the destination". But what does it really mean to enjoy the journey? How can you enjoy hard times or difficulty?In this episode I would like to look at what gets in the way of enjoying the journey of all life experiences. I have personally found that I, myself, on countless occasions get sucked into the automaticity of my thoughts and ideas to prevent me from enjoying the journey. Even though having thoughts are like the art of possibilities, all of the possibilities can be overwhelming. The numerous thoughts can then turn us away form the actual experience of action of one of these possibilities. So in this episode we talk about some of the "journey killers" Comparison Creating a hierarchy of "better or worse", "good or bad", "more or less valuable" "more or less then" An idea of "Perfection" which is hidden need for it to be good enough (Goes back to comparison to something) Not seeing the journey as a lesson of growth when you are uncomfortable If there is nothing you are learning or growing from in your situation I will challenge you to say you are not growing or evolving. We get paralyzed with change or uncomfortableness that we become complacent in a "comfort zone", but are you growing in the comfort? I believe we all choose this life experience to gain something from it, the wisdom of this experience is the actual experience or journey. Episode # 30 - Learning to be comfortable with uncertainty. In this episode we focus on the uncomfortable feelings of dealing with uncertainty. Uncertainty is the lack of knowing the outcome of a situation. When we become uncomfortable from the uncertainty it comes from the overactivity of our thoughts and "what ifs" which then trigger feelings. The subconscious mind is then actually re-experiencing the "what if" fantasies we create causing further discomfort. The subconscious mind does not know if what we are showing it is real or not real even if it is imagined potentials. Sometimes we are even reminded of past experiences of uncertainty which heightens the discomfort feelings even further. In this podcast we discuss what to focus on when this happens. Episode # 29 - Memory & Trauma. Memory is stored in the subconscious mind primarily. The subconscious mind is like the hard drive of a computer. The subconscious mind does not know from fact to fiction and therefore we can even react from trauma held in the body or the subconscious mind as if it is happening in "real" life. So although we may know consciously an experience is no longer happening - simply the recall creates an image which subconscious does not know if it is now or past. Creating memory is done by a mixture of 1) Fact 2) Perception & Emotional state 3) Confabulation When it comes to trauma the emotions are intense so the memory could be deeply programmed. The more intense the emotion is the more deeply the memory is impressed. Episode # 28 - In this Episode we focus on Parts work which is a therapy modality used to help with inner conflict. This modality is not to be confused with the condition known as Disassociated Identify Disorder (formally known as Multiple Personality Disorder) or used for such condition. However, Parts work is to address conflicting parts we are fully aware of within ourselves. We can be aware of conflicting parts in various situations or relationships. In example a part that wants to go outside and socialize and a part that doesn't want to go out and socialize during a pandemic or a part that wants to continue a relationship and a part that doesn't want to continue a relationship. Particular situations and memories or events can bring about different or recurrent parts. Some parts may also be more prevalent in your life then others. We all have various parts of us and they simply are sub-egos or personalities. These egos and personalities are typically developed from our childhood. All of the parts within us have a job or underlying intention as to what they want or need. In example some parts are only wanting to protect us or wanting us to be happy. The job of these parts are carried out however in maladaptive ways and may create emotional distress and confusion. To help yourself with making decisions or healing we must learn to understand all the parts that make up the totality of us and come to a resolution or teach parts how to "do their job better". In this episode I discuss how you can start to work with your parts and begin to come to an understanding or resolution of your parts that may be in conflict. Episode # 27 - The awareness of the perceptual distortion is the ability to remind oneself of our true existence as energy and source and not the reality we perceive & produce. The distortion is the the story we have been told and thus tell our-selves is true and thus become our beliefs of self. The foundation of our beliefs are created prior to 12 years old and we carry these unconsciously throughout our adulthood. In order to be voided from distorted perceptions we have to first be aware of them and change the story that no longer suits our authentic character of who we are. However, it can be a challenge to see these distortions because they have become an identified part of who we are. It becomes all we know. It's like playing a role in a movie for so long its the only character you can understand or connect with and then you get stuck in a loop of only playing that role because people only seek or call you for that particular role. If you go outside that role it could be like fighting against the grain (initially) since the other characters and movie is created for that conditioned role. As we become aware of perceptual distortions and choose to change - relationships and people around you may get confused and thus upset as you are no longer filling the role you played for them. It can also go the other way in relationships that are better suited for your new role can get even easier and more harmonious. Relationship patterns tend to repeat and remind us about someone or something. In this episode we will talk about how this perceptual distortion is create and to become aware of it through 3 steps. 1)Recognize heightened triggers (people or situations). What did that person or situation make you feel? (i.e. angry, upset, irritable, sad). So use that emotion to tie it to a belief of self by saying the following... The feeling of ___(emotion)___ makes me feel that i am ___(belief of self)____. Make sure the belief if not what "they are doing" but what "I am believing of self because of what they are doing" Examples.... Episode # 26 - In recognition of the new year and creating goals we will discuss the social conditionings we may be unaware influencing our goals or resolutions we set for ourselves. Maybe you want to be a certain weight, have a particular physique, be in a particular type of relationship, buy a particular new car or house and etc. Whatever your goals and or resolutions are for the new year be sure it is aligned with your uniqueness or authenticity. Social conditionings are picked up throughout our society, culture, gender, religion and etc. We may not be fully aware of the various conditions that are so deeply ingrained - so much so that even our goals are conditionally created and don't necessarily help us get what we really want deep down on an emotional level. So as an examples even if we meet our goals that should make us happy but do not make us happy it may be because we are simply chasing a social condition for acceptance. Episode # 25 - In this episode we discuss the law of attraction. This is the most popular of the laws of the universe however its explanation does encompass many of the other laws discussed in this series. We will look closely at how this law is utilized or why we may not be manifesting or attracting the situations, people or things that we think that we desire most. A clear description of the way to attract that which you truly need but not want will be thoroughly looked at. We are master attracters. Our thoughts and emotions or feelings are like a beacon for what we may want to come towards us. The vibration and energy we emit from our body, via thoughts and emotions, is the signal to the universe or become a magnet for that very thing we set our attention on. However, if our conscious or thinking mind is saying one thing but our body is communicating another, through emotions or limiting beliefs we can block the attraction to manifest. The thinking mind and feeling body could be conflicting one another and therefore preventing that which we think we desire to come towards us. Most importantly the stronger signaling component will win and if you have listened to my prior episodes you will know that the body or the subconscious mind is the biggest producer of energy and therefore would be the stronger signaling component. Episode #23 - In the world of manifestation having inspired action is like the final step or "the cherry on top", "the icing on the cake" or simply hitting the actual go button as opposed to thinking about hitting go. In the world of manifestation everything starts with a thought but we need action to create it in our physical reality. In this podcast we will talk about how this law of the universe relates to the double split study in quantum physics and about the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon (a.k.a. the Recency Bias or Frequency Illusion) which is a situation where something you recently learned or been thinking about suddenly seems to appear everywhere. Our thoughts and attention on something energetically draws that forward to us but it requires our own action to finalize the manifestation of it into reality. We have free will to choose. Our free will is a part of our consciousness that allows us to grow and evolve. So if we sit and do nothing, that is a choice but that choice may not help us become more efficient or manifest the life of ease or flow. Action must happen but most importantly inspired action. This feeling of wanting to do something causes you to feel driven towards it, through action. Being inspired by feeling to act. Like standing next to someone in line and wanting to spark a conversation with the person next to you. Or seeing a car all around you cause you like it and now actually - taking the steps to get the funds or go to dealership to buy the car. The inspired action is the impulse in a sense coming from within you. Some things to be aware of though if you find yourself not taking inspired action: The stronger energy will win. Emotions are all the same...they are all Energy We run away from fear / hurt or pain or the more "negative energy" and towards happy joy and love the more "positive energy". We can not have one without the others. We must reduce the intensity of the stronger energy to get to ether desired energy if it is "in the way", we do this by going through NOT around (or ignoring) So if we are fearful of what someone will think then we will be overwhelmed by that fear to NOT act on the inspired action which may be good for us - like having a conversation with someone that may be the key to your next big break in a job or relationship. We need to listen to those gut feelings or inspired drive or action. It represents the natural positive order within a system that is right or appropriate in morality or occurrence. It is the duty of a particular entity within a system of order. Within this order there is a place for everything and everyone. To be aligned with our dharma is to be living in our duty our right of talents or our natural abilities that come (in a sense) effortlessly to us as it is our natural role within the system. Dharma is sometimes considered to be our passion or drive, or that which excites you. To find our Dharma we must open up to our talents or understanding of who we are as an individual. Exploring what we feel and using that as a compass to guide us to either the next steps or the direction we are meant to go. Everything in life has a dynamic exchange of energy, a giving and receiving in all energy. This podcast will discussion how this giving and receiving relates to your everyday relationships and actions, how to receive that which you give and how this Law relates in your life. So if you want love you give love, if you want more money you give more money. But what does this really mean if we still do not receive that which we think that we give? The energy behind the giving must be that of what you want to receive and energy can not be tricked however, the energy is generated from our emotions, or feelings and our intentions. Episode # 19 - We will simply discuss how everything is connected or one in this Universal Law of oneness, also known as the law of unity, law of potentiality (also discussed in this podcast will be the Law of Vibration) Episode Notes: In order to understand this law we must first understand the constructs of our physical reality to the most basic means. The atom or energy. Although we can look at an atom and see a quick snapshot of it, it's The energy in our cells and all physical matter. The energy of the atom allows the trees to grow, the clouds to shift or our heart to pump and the breath we breathe. The energy within us and around us is constantly moving, changing or shifting (this is even further explained in the law of vibration) It is never stagnant and the empty spaces are not empty, it is a reality (non-physical from our perspective) within a physical reality. There is constant moving creating a vastly connected ecosystem, like the drops in an ocean, each drop can be seen single, however within the one drop are more drops or connection and thus from the view of within that drop is like us within a vast ocean. The energy is continuous beyond our ability to see or perceive however we tackle that conceptual understand in this podcast so we can grasp on the law of oneness. Energy is constantly flowing around us. It is our ever evolving technology that allows us to gradually “ride the wave” in a sense of these energy frequencies constantly in and around us. The cell phone or telecommunication would not exist if it was not for the energy in the air or the transmissions of sound which is simply a wave. It is like a prism or a rainbow just because you can not see colors in the air with our bare eyes does not mean color is not flowing right in front of us. It is the reflection that we see base don the medium changes. The energy that we can not see is the reason we can walk into a room and immediately sense if something happened or bad news was shared, INTUITION is that energy. The energy around us is one and the other. It is vast and beyond, open and present. It is in us around us and beyond us. The energy is consciousness, the awareness we have as humans is a level of consciousness however all things in life have consciousness. The trees that grow have consciousness, they breathe in our CO2 and breath out the air we then breathe in....connected to us and use to them.
