Nic Squiers is a father, former surfer on the WSL World Qualifying Series and founder of the Illawarra Surf Academy on the South East Coast of Australia. Recently retired from professional surfing, Nic’s career included 2 National Surfing Championship wins, amongst a string of event and heat wins against literally some of the best surfers in the world. Passionate about nurturing the next generation of rippers from his local area, Nic is embarking on a new chapter in his life, one that consists of sharing his knowledge and spending plenty of time with loved ones. In this week's episode,  Nic is with me to share his journey, experiences, challenges and hopes for the future.
