Spencer Frost is a talented surfer and filmmaker from the suburb of Avalon, in the northern beaches area of Sydney, Australia. This week, Spencer sits down with me in-person to discuss his early days growing up, starting out in surf film-making, his transition into commercial projects with his own company Spencer Frost films, his early mentors, and a detailed behind the scenes account of his latest collaborative passion project "Corners of the Earth: Kamchatka" with friends Guy Willement, Fraser Dovell, and Letty Mortensen. It is such an epic tale of modern day surf exploration, commitment, overcoming adversity, friendship and achievement. I was literally hanging off his every word, and I can't wait to watch the movie.
