I'm like asking questions about people who do cool stuff in Seattle.

Short is a funny thing to put before mentioning Walter Jones - he's a big man. We're the same height and I could easily hide behind this wall of muscle and stuff great for building a wall! It’s tough not to over do it when someone so kind and humble comes in, but it’s the tales we tell of times past that propel the future into the right direction - Walter Jones played an entire career in Seattle as a Seahawk with skills and hustle so strong he’s enshrined in the pro football hall of fame - such an important part of our sporting culture that he joins only two others in history to have his number retired by the organization. But legacy is a lifetime and so Walter is taking his time today to talk to us about a huge community event A Touch of Football benefiting the Crohns and Colitis Foundation just one of the awesome charitable things you’ll see him at around Seattle.

Walt is the newest host on 107.7 The End! While most of us here have only ever really pursued one career - radio - Walt took a break to do something that most kids from Macomb, IL, would ever dream of - touring the world in band! What a great addition to The End. Enjoy this talk and enjoy Walt weekdays 3-7p.

I met Hannah when following up with Brian Morris (ep 86) with a visit to ZakLabs - a creative workspace for cos-play. An array of humans were cutting, painting, forming, and laughing as they sculpted designs for an upcoming convention. Now, RenCon is just around the corner and Hannah came in to talk about her process for making a wild variety of costumes from Hiccup (How to Train Your Dragon) to Nova (StarCraft), learning everything from scratch, and what the world of cosplayers looks like for women. Follow along with her Instagram @ninjacatcosplay. PS. Sorry I screwed up the episode number initially ;)

Barns Courtney has roots here in Seattle but he has grown and that brain of his is quick! We jump right in and things get naughty right out of the gate, so, put on your adult ears... you've been warned. Our shirtless wonder will answer the important questions: Is it as small as they say it is? Where are all your muscles? Was that smell you?? See Barns in October at Neumos!

Mike is not only a veteran of KGRG, host of the Mike Siebert Radio Podcast, but he's also crazy about Transformers - like travel to Toronto to go to a Transformers convention. He also brings that passion home and with CybFest NW 2019 looming like Unicron over Cybertron, he's here to get us fired up for our own PNW Transformers convention! More at cybfestnw.com

Everything I knew about Joe (J GRGRY) I learned from Twitter and one episode of Locals Only that he joined Steven Graham for at 1077 The End. Shirtless, covered in pink paint and makeup, he had my attention, but in a very specific feeling of intrigue. Joe is someone I wanted to be around, his music something that made me want to be even closer. This guy is a sweetheart but with a tale that feels as dark as the part of your heart that you don't share with anyone.

He's the former host of the Offspeed Podcast and we've been going back and forth for a year until he's finally here now to do Our Dumb Podcast... only this is So, You're In Seattle... awkward. We dive into the world of insane baseball statistics and talk a lot about how hard it is to get on stage and make something of yourself in local comedy - something Casey is tackling at Tacoma Comedy Club!

From the ashes of bands like Girl on Fire we see the genesis of GOLDNWOLF a trio of musicians all from a shared background making new music in the darkness of the longest Seattle winter ever. Employing a different approach, these gentlemen are releasing the songs as their ready starting with just a solo single, "Lone Wolf". Understand how their previous successes and setbacks fueled them up for this new project shines light on what it's going to take for a band in Seattle to make another run of things.

When you cross paths with someone who has lived a career that keeps that magical creative spark alive, it's important to take a moment to savor the experience. Brian makes his career as a photographer, but his passion is for designing costumes, props, and more for conventions (including one he helped start, Renton Comic Con). He hosts monthly building sessions out of his massive workshop in Renton, Zaklabs, where fellow con lovers can assemble to work on their sweet costumes. This is an interesting dude who is just the sweetest!

We slumbered way down in the dark depths of Key Arena where a sea of hard working people, wires, and expensive equipment all have to come together to make four dudes (and a couple friends) look great on stage. There Gregr got to sit down with a dude who's toured the world playing music for decades: Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Roger Bennett had nothing by wonderful things to say about Seattle, the Sounders, and more Seattle with a visit to 1077 The End this morning. Here's our conversation minus the f-bomb I let slip at the end :D

Donna is one of the fine nerds responsible for OrcaCon - a huge tabletop gaming fest happening 1/13-15 in Everett! As a nerd myself, I had no idea how out of my depths I would be when talking about the immense world of social gaming. Fantastic.

A man whose world experience far surpasses his age, Nick has toured the country in a rock band, wandered the jungles, peninsulas, and archipelagos of the far east, and applied his hand as an apple picker in eastern Washington.

An artist who works in pencil, he's Keegan Hall. While art should be left to stand as expression, when collaborations with guys like Kam Chancellor or Macklemore and Ryan Lewis show up, it’s time to take notice in what a person is capable of achieving and who they can move. He’s as humble in his delivery as he is able with graphite on paper.

The resurgence of vinyl records not only makes music collecting cool again, but it's also inpsired people like Shawn and Taylor to make art from LP's. They've started a company, Skylinyl, combining the worlds or vinyl and skylines. It's a fun talk about how art inspires art and how to make a living without having to be MC Hammer selling mixtapes from your trunk.

Seth is co-creator a Lake Union escape room, Hourglass Escapes. His journey to get there involves monsters, robots, makeup and wax! We're back for another season, and Seth is the exact type of super fascinating Seattleite that I love talking to!

Who knew the captain of the Seattle Sounders FC loved kick flips so much?!

Mike Klay tackled the enormous task of organizing Flatstock 56 - a gathering of concert poster artists that takes place annually at Bumbershoot. An artist himself, he tells us about how the posters are made, displayed, and the travel some artists go through for the community.

Mike Jungers family business involves talking... talking super fast. They're auctioneers, and while we just make chicken noises with the occassional number in there like idiots in parody of their jobs, auctioneers have tons of nuance in their rattling calls. Mike helps me understand what goes in to selling stuff for people.

Alyssa, dressed in mid-summer flannel, is one of us! She's new on The End, but not new to hiking around in our forests, taking wiggling dogs to the dog park, or getting fired up about a Temple of the Dog reunion tour. Unlike most of us, she knows how to drive in the snow! Get to know her here.

Adam gave me my first demonstration on how live streaming internet works when covering local sports. Bootstrapper Studios are partners with Seattle Sounders, Seattle Reign FC, and more, but he wasn't always the sports enthusiast his business has taught him to be. Like any good pokemon, he's evolving!

Chris is the host of The Seattle Files podcast. It digs into the history of Seattle and spices up the topics by having local entertainers add their nonsense to the mix. It's a wonderful concept and a fun way to learn about why stuff is called stuff in Seattle. TheSeattleFiles.com

Jacob's catchphrase "I make words happen" is a significant distinguisher between the dumb stuff we do at the radio station and how he brings phrases to life. Check him out at makewordshappen.com

Jason Lundgren lives a portion of his life pumping quarters into a cabinet game we all know as bit of classic Americana: Pac-Man. In a quest to reach level 255 and maximum points totalling over 3 million, Jason hopes to give the world record holders a run for their money, but first he's gotta train.

Like so many in the music scene, Steven grew up listening to 1077 the end, like so few - he ended up hosting a show here! Steven first put his name on my map with a ton of work in the Everett music scene before joining pepper to host locals only, let’s dig around and see who he is!

These two dudes are Seattle entreprenuers with a million ideas on how to make money AND the willingness to get it done. I first caught Mike on KIRO 7 debuting the Package Guard - a device to deter package theft from your front porch. These dudes have great energy - it's not wonder they get stuff done.

RC is one of the two organizers for Seattle Ska Fest 2016. He and Jesse picked up the reigns after the Seattle music community lost Greg Gibson at the beginning of the year. I had no idea that ska music thrived in the PNW and we'll have two nights 4/22-23 at the Highline Bar to find out just how strong it is!

The Seattle Sounders FC's season is off and running. This year it's not just new player names we have to memorize, the Sounders FC front office split the duties once handled by one man into the role of two teams. Longtime Seattle resident/soccer fan, Matt Johnson, steps into an opportunity of a lifetime for anyone who's dreamed of calling play by play sports as he steps up to the mic to handle broadcast duties on the FM dial in 2016.
