Karina is a fan of Free AF! "HOW ARE THESE NOT ALCOHOLIC?" - This is where Lisa comes in.. Lisa King is most well known as founder of Kiwi social enterprise Eat My Lunch. She was 2019’s MYOB Woman Entrepreneur of the Year and a 2019 New Zealander of the Year finalist after starting Eat My Lunch from her home kitchen in 2015. Now in 2020, she has created AF Drinks, underpinned by a new social mission of its own. I WAS MADE TO FEEL REALLY SOCIALLY AWKWARD. THAT’S WHERE THE IDEA FOR AF CAME FROM — NOT JUST A PRODUCT, BUT A WORLD WHERE IT’S OK TO MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS AND TO DO THAT WITH CONFIDENCE. Enter AF Drinks With Eat My Lunch now humming along, Lisa’s new start-up is helping people explore a new relationship with alcohol. It all started when Lisa connected her bouts of vertigo to her beloved gin-and-tonics and decided to give up the drink for a while. She quickly realised there were very few good alternatives to alcoholic drinks. “Either they didn't taste that great or they were really expensive.” There was a clear gap in the market – not just for a nice, grown-up AF drink, but for a brand that could lead an attitude shift. Lisa could see her new alcohol-free life being permanent but she got a lot of push-back. “It's like, ‘What's wrong with you? Are you pregnant?’ I was thinking I'm making a really good choice here, but I was made to feel really socially awkward. That’s where the idea for AF came from – not just a product, but a world where it’s ok to make your own decisions and to do that with confidence.”

Karina had an absolute blast talking to one of her favorite country stars, Tyler Rich!! Listen in as they talk dogs, Disney, life on the tour bus, and everything in between. Authority Magazine Article: https://medium.com/authority-magazine/meet-nashvilles-rising-stars-tyler-rich-56afc4fab749 Raised in Northern California, Tyler Rich found his love of music gathered around a Christmas tree alongside family singing holiday classics and Creedence Clearwater Revival. Fast forward to graduating college with a degree in Economics, Tyler moved to LA to pursue a different game of numbers — music — exploring various genres with songwriting and bands before taking the leap as a solo artist. His fanbase has grown organically from Sacramento to Nashville where in 2017 he signed a record deal with The Valory Music Co. and a publishing agreement with Big Machine Music. While introducing his amplified sound and infectious energy coast to coast, the 2018 CMT Listen Up and 2019 Pandora Artist has toured with Brett Young, Justin Moore, LANCO, and Dustin Lynch, plus shared bills alongside Sam Hunt, Brett Eldredge, Cole Swindell, Dan + Shay and more. Enlisting Tyler as one of their “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know, Rolling Stone touts him as “the newest member of country music’s radio-minded incoming class, with a homecoming king’s swagger and a valedictorian’s songwriting smarts.” SiriusXM chart-toppers GOLD-certified single “The Difference” and “Leave Her Wild” set the tone for his debut album TWO THOUSAND MILES, a reference to the distance between Los Angeles and Nashville as both he and his wife, actress Sabina Gadecki chased their dreams and embraced a bi-coastal relationship before officially settling in Tennessee. While inspiration has been specific, the collection reflects feelings all people have in common — the need for acceptance, devotion, and places to call their own. Tyler connected virtually, recording the aptly-titled “Feels Like Home,” from a makeshift home studio as musicians added parts from their respective spaces and finding an overwhelming response of 3 million+ views on TikTok with a demo of “Better Than You’re Used To.” His latest single has now amassed over 28M+ global streams to date and reminds others to remember your value. His empathetic spirit extends to animals too with Rich Rescues, an initiative he began while on tour to raise awareness for pet adoption. In addition to joining Chris Lane on the road, Tyler brought his own TWO THOUSAND (MORE) MILES TOUR nationwide. Visit TylerRich.com for dates or follow on Instagram and TikTok.

Singer-songwriter Cash Crawford releases her new single, “Save Myself.” As a female musician, Cash is growing, healing, evolving, and learning all through her own shadow. “How could you love me, when I didn’t love me” a cutting-edge hook line that explains Cash saving herself this time. Listeners get an inside look of the singer's light and dark sides, but most refreshingly her impeccable honesty. Embracing the feelings and emotions of healing, Cash faces her own challenges and focuses on the light that comes from positivity instead of blaming others for past mistakes. Don Miggs, a multi-instrumentalist who has worked with Mick Fleetwood and Tower of Power, as well as fronting the band Whole Damn Mess and touring with artists such as ZZ Top and Cheap Trick, produced the single. "Save Myself" is my version of acknowledging that, at a time, I looked to others for my happiness," says Cash. Through bold and emotional lyrics, Cash, who once felt like a nobody and later accepted her imperfections, found her own self-worth. Cash says, “After some very deep personal battles, I had to spend time getting to know myself all over again as well as take responsibility for ways I had wronged myself but blamed others. It’s about my journey in becoming my own hero.” Cash’s powerhouse vocals are distinctive, and her ability to empower other women through lyrics is undeniable. Becoming her own hero, the gypsy singer continues to make waves in Nashville as she begins a new self-love musical journey. Cash is no stranger to the music industry, spending over 20 years as a noteworthy vocalist, songwriter, and entertainer. As an artist, she has earned Rising Star, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Song of the Year Nominations for her solo projects. Cash has won Best Singer-Songwriter for the Toronto Indie Music Awards in 2012/2013. In 2019, Cash released “Stevie”, her single written about her idol Stevie Nicks, with David Tolliver. “Save Myself” is set to be released on Friday, May 27th.

Fascinating episode with Karina and Licensed therapist, Kevin Wehe! More info about Kevin here: In my practice I help my clients strive towards the lives they want to live by helping them look within themselves and their past, while also helping them explore new horizons in the present. Looking Within Looking within helps people shed light on and heal any emotional hurts from the past. When a person heals their emotional past, they are able to let go of limiting and harmful behaviors and relationships. Looking within also helps people find hidden strengths that they have, but that may have been dismissed or belittled because of hurts from the past. As people heal emotionally, they are better able to fully embrace and use all of their strengths to strive towards the life they want. It’s an unlikely start to a not-so-typical tale of country stardom: singer/songwriter Raleigh Keegan was born in a jail to a brave, selfless single mother and placed for adoption. “It ended up being the best case scenario – my parents are wonderful. I had an awesome childhood.” Raised outside of Cincinnati with a large extended family (11 aunts and uncles and nearly 50 cousins on just one side), Raleigh was the only member with any sort of musical inclination. “My birth father played guitar – that’s about all I know of where my talents come from.” Karina and Raleigh break it all down and more in this episode! ! Even though Karina was recovering from losing her voice and traveling for 24 hours the previous day she says this episode is one of her faves.. "Raleigh's answers are honest and humble- A true star in the making!" Read more in "Meet Nashville's Rising Stars" BOOK - https://www.tallulahfilms.com/nashville-rising-stars-book

“There’s only one way to express what music gives me. It gives me purpose, it gives me point. When I sing, I can just be me” -Jonathan Antoine, 26 year old tenor from the UK. When Jonathan sings, it’s immediately apparent you are hearing one of the best voices in the world. The quality, feeling and authenticity that he puts into his performances reaches out and draws you into the music. Depending on the theme of the current serenade, he has you feeling the thrill of new love, brokenhearted, grieving, hopeful and more. From Puccini to Leonard Cohen, Jonathan sings a diverse repertoire, bringing many musical tastes together and audiences appreciate all. Most initially learned of Jonathan Antoine from the 2012 Britain’s Got Talent series where he sang in a duo called Jonathan and Charlotte. The emotional and inspiring audition, consecutive semi-final and final performances had the UK viewers going wild. With the media frenzy that followed the audition airing, it was the beginning of a whirlwind of television appearances and a documentary, performances all over Europe as well as creating the first album, Together, all at the age of 17. A second album, Perhaps Love followed, containing solos from each artist, hinting that separate careers were approaching. The duo did part, each with their own contract to pursue individual aspirations and Jonathan’s debut solo album, Tenore, was released in October 2014. The much anticipated album showcased Jonathan’s growth and hard work training his voice. It contains classics such as La Donna e Mobile, Panis Angelicus, and a must-sing tribute to Mario Lanza with Be My Love to name but a few. Just before release date, Jonathan was invited to perform in the finale concert of the month-long iTunes festival held at the Roundhouse in London, as Placido Domingo’s guest. At the ripe age of 19, he had his first number one charting classical album. 2014 also found Jonathan performing for the first time in the USA. David Foster whisked him away to perform at the 20th anniversary Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night- an incredible experience for such a worthy cause. At another performance in Florida, a highlight was singing the Beatles' Hey Jude with Sting, Ne-Yo, Adam Levine and Tessanne Chin. https://www.jonathanantoinemusic.com/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zybog6uIa1M

Listen to Karina have a heart to heart with Todd and Brooke Tilghman. No topic is off limits as they talk about behind the scenes of The Voice and working with Blake Shelton, adopting their beautiful children, and how they set rules as a family. Check out ore about their book "Every Little Win "- How Celebrating Small Victories Can Lead to Big Joy https://www.amazon.com/Every-Little-Win-Celebrating-Victories/dp/1400229103 What does a forty-two-year-old, small-town pastor do when he wins one of the most popular singing competitions in the world? Todd Tilghman and his wife, Brooke, share how decades of unrelenting challenges have taught them a joyful mindset of embracing not only winning The Voice but also "every little win" along the way. When Todd Tilghman, pastor and father of eight from Meridian, Mississippi, auditioned for The Voice, he counted it as a win simply to sing in front of an audience other than family and church members. Despite no music or vocal training, he not only made it through the blind audition--with all four celebrity judges vying to coach him--he also won the show's entire eighteenth season. Fans were drawn to Todd's tremendous joy on stage, giving them much-needed inspiration during the hard challenges of a global pandemic. In their first book, Todd and Brooke share how their focus on joy and celebrating every little win has helped them to overcome numerous challenges over their twenty-plus-year marriage. From adopting two children from South Korea to fighting for their newborn son's life to pastoring a small congregation through periods of adversity, Todd and Brooke share the lessons they've learned and the strategies that have moved them from fear to faith to ever-present joy. https://www.facebook.com/toddtilghmanmusic
