Do you wish you had someone to understand what you're going through or have been through? I fell in love with a man that had the most attractive energy I had ever met. He was attentive, sexy, strong, intelligent, enthusiastic and had a quick wit. He was the best hype guy and ready to ride at anytime. Want to get a coffee? Yes. Want to meet for a drink? Yes. You want to move? Yes. I was drawn into a relationship with someone because of his powerful energy of willingness and his ability to lock his attention onto me. The attention that I was getting from him made me feel like I could accomplish anything because he had such a strong ride and fly attitude. It dissolved the fears of post trauma, of being alone or abandoned. That's why I married someone with bipolar without knowing it. My story is from the view of the partner that has fallen in love with someone with a very serious illness and the intimate details of what we went through as the illness unfolded. Bipolar tore our life down and we had to fight to restore it, and 15 years later, I'm still telling the story. But I've been hearing your stories too, and all the people that have reached out to me over the years have lit up a passion in me to never let anyone be alone with bipolar. This is my mission and my heart's call to change the way we do a relationship with a loved one with bipolar.
