Want to know the hardest way to get rich? Try to be innovative. I’m being serious. Where most people go wrong in their pursuit of wealth is that they try to re-invent the wheel. This of course can be a grand slam when you get it right, HOWEVER, for the majority of people, it can take a VERY long time to come up with something new. I’m a millionaire & I’m still insecure. Yes, you read that right. If you are someone who thinks money and influence will fix all of your insecurities, then you are wrong. If anything, it amplifies those insecurities you have even further. You end up putting a false image of yourself. The truth of the matter is that I've been hiding behind a mask of insecurity recently, it’s been evident in my recent YouTube videos. It felt great for a short amount of time, however it was a temporary band aid instead of a permanent solution, and i’ve only just truly processed it. All this time, I still had my deep rooted insecurities buried within me & the more I tried to hide those insecurities, the bigger they became. It can be easy for you to look at others online & assume that they are this incredible superhuman because of all of the success that is shown nowadays on social media, YouTube, etc. The truth of the matter is that the majority of these individuals are chained to insecurities that you can’t even see. Running a business is painful. But being broke is also painful. The secret to avoid being broke is to simply pick your pain. For me, I choose the pain that brings goodness into my life. I choose the pain of running a business. I choose the pain of following a rigorous routine, day in & day out. I choose the pain of dealing with problems every single day. I choose to go through these different types of pains, as the rewards are worth the hardships that I go through. I have the life that I have dreamt of, I work with people that I love & I am changing lives every single day with my business. Compare this to some of the comforts in life that I can have. I can choose to be comfortable & settle. I can choose to do whatever I want everyday. I can choose to no longer have to worry about anything. But I simply don’t. Why? Because whilst these things may feel comfortable in the short term, it can produce a life that is filled with long-term discomfort. That is why I do the things that may be painful on a day to day basis but are worth it in the long run. One of the best strategies to grow an online business in 2023 is to leverage the flywheel effect. This is the simple art of having a never ending cycle which constantly re-enforces positive behaviour. An example for my business is the simple concept of sharing wins. We love it when the community shares wins & it’s something that never ends, as it’s like a trigger that constantly gets people to share any success they’ve had. When one person shares & is encouraged for doing so, others start to do it themselves. These wins then help us as a business as it stacks undeniable social proof & when you partner a great product with encouraging others to share their success, you can imagine how tall that stack actually is. This is the exact same strategy that you can leverage in your own business & it doesn’t have to even be centered around wins. The main takeaway from this is the actual concept of having a flywheel effect. Just by having something within your business that causes a positive action to take place over & over again with minimal effort, can cause exponential growth without you having to even do much. It takes a LOT of components to get to $100k per month. It requires the right product, the right branding, the right sales process, the right marketing, the right team, etc. Even when all of those things are in place, there are still naturally going to be some problems which you simply can’t avoid. Want to know the easiest way to get SMMA meetings in 2023? Understand your market. So annoyingly simple that you probably want to throw your shoe at the screen yet you’re still here as you know it’s true. Far too many of you watching this are coming up with offers that do not resonate with your market whatsoever. You're just reaching out with the same generic spiel of leads, appointments, etc, without actually looking into what they are actually after. As a result, your messaging sounds the EXACT same as your competitors & you get ignored as a result, leaving you with an extremely dry calendar. That is why it is EXTREMELY crucial to do your market research. What are your niches pain points? What does their industry verbiage look like? What do they want to achieve? These are just a few of the many questions that you can ask to start crafting an offer that actually resonates with your market. When you take the time & effort to do this, there’s no reason why you would struggle to generate meetings on a consistent basis. Comfort kills potential. I say potential & not success because you can still succeed in comfort yet fail to reach your maximum potential. It’s one of the most interesting concepts in business. Comfort is usually the sole reason why we start our endeavors. We want a better life, less stress & no problems whatsoever. The problem is that once we actually attain comfort, we all of a sudden place ourselves in a position of limitation. We start to excuse ourselves from doing what is required or not meeting the usual standard. This can reflect in both your life & business. Even if you are off your game by 0.01% due to comfort, you are still limiting your true potential. In some cases, it can even cost you your entire business in the long run. That is why you should never aspire to be comfortable. You should always be in discomfort, as this means you are growing, regardless of the success that you have achieved. The minute you get complacent is the minute you start going backwards & this is one thing that I have learnt in my own business. Short form content agencies are dead. Sounds controversial but it’s the truth. In the current climate that we are in, it’s hard for someone to justify paying an agency purely for short form content. This single service can now be provided in a much cheaper AND efficient fashion in the form of various A.I. options that are available on the market. Now I’m not saying that a human touch isn’t required whatsoever. I myself have a video editor, who creates shorts from scratch & even leverages A.I. tools for ideation, as well as putting his own spin on the shorts that the A.I provides. However, that is not the only thing he provides & that is something that a lot of people fail to understand. You do NOT want to centre your business around this single service, as it is one that can simply be replaced by a tool. It’s far more effective to leverage this service as an extension or a further option to what you offer. For example, perhaps your offer is centered around organic YouTube growth & shorts are just 1 of the vehicles that you can use to your advantage. This itself is ok because it’s not the vocal point of your service → ideation, script creation, long form editing, etc, will be the core parts that any tool will struggle to replace you with. The minute you position yourself as someone that only provides short form content is when you set yourself up to be replaced. That is why you NEED to get creative with what you offer, so that you don’t allow yourself to be put in a position where a simple A.I. tool can replace you. Patience is everything in business. Without it, it’s almost guaranteed that you will not succeed. Being patient can be incredibly frustrating. You may be firing on all cylinders & doing all the right things, yet you have still seen no success whatsoever. You must be patient & give things time. Even when you are doing everything right, it doesn’t mean success will suddenly pop out of the blue. The more you continue to do the right things on a consistent basis over a long period of time, the more likely it is that success will eventually arrive. Most people do not understand this & feel that they are entitled to immediate success, when sadly this isn’t the case. Those that aren’t patient, end up leaving a winning path & surrendering to shiny object syndrome. They switch niches, business models, offers, etc, all because they didn’t stick with what they currently had. That is why patience is one of the most crucial ingredients to success. I hate myself. Probably the last thing that you would have expected to read from me. But it’s the truth. I’ve loved being in business & achieving the success I have achieved thus far. The reality however, is that success has made me weak & ultimately become someone that I’m not happy with. The truth about winning in business is that it puts you at risk of going backwards on an individual level. Sounds confusing right? You may be thinking how on earth can you go backwards if you achieve great heights with your business? It’s quite simple. The more successful you become, the less you actually have to do. In my case, I went from doing pretty much absolutely everything in the business, to not having to do much anymore. This has then opened the doors to laziness with next to no consequences. I can afford to take an extra few hours in bed. I can afford to skip the gym for the day. I can afford to take the day off because I ‘feel’ like it. Now I can do all of these things with no repercussions whatsoever because of the work that I have put in to create my business the way it has been created. But it has simply put me in a position where I dislike who I am. I loved the version of myself where I was firing on all cylinders & I despise the version of myself that can afford to miss a few things, even though I have earnt the luxury of doing so. This is something that every entrepreneur should be wary of when they start their business. They think that the journey to success is the worst part, when in reality it is the best part. You are literally evolving into the best version of yourself, day in & day out. Success itself is actually the least satisfying part & you don’t even realize it. It only hits you once you get a taste of what it’s like to not have to do as much. That’s the trap door that opens when you finally land on success, as it can lead to significant personal dissatisfaction. I LOVE saturated niches. Sounds crazy right? Whilst many people fall into the trap of running away from saturated niches due to the sheer amount of competition, I run straight towards them. The reason for this is because saturated niches contains competitors who have already done 80% of the work for me. The remaining 20% involves me avoiding the mistakes that they have made & simply being better than them. It’s that simple. If you fail to prepare then you must prepare to fail. As cliche & cheesy this saying may sound, it couldn’t be any more accurate. When you’re new to the agency space, your sole priority is to sign a client. There’s nothing wrong with this mindset at all however it comes with its fair share of problems. The major one being is that you have no idea what the next steps looks like once someone actually agrees to be your client. This then results in pure chaos which can easily turn a yes into a no, due to a poor client experience. $100,000,000 per year. That is a pretty big number & it’s what I’m gunning for in the next few years or so. During my time as an entrepreneur, I have faced so many challenges, bottlenecks & problems to get to where I am today. Each level of success came with new levels of failures, which required new solutions, new character, new paradigms, new everything. That is probably the most important thing that I have learnt thus far. No matter how successful you become, you are always presented with a new set of problems. What does your onboarding process look like? If you took a deep breath whilst looking at the sky thinking about what it entails, then it’s safe to say it definitely needs some work. The reason I know this is because I was once in that same position in the early stages of my journey. I never really had a clear onboarding process that was the same for every client. It almost felt like I was so focused on closing the deal itself, that the onboarding process was left to be something that could be made up on the spot. $10,000 per month. That is the magic number that EVERYONE has their sights set on when they start their SMMA journey. As a beginner, it can be scary to even look at that number (let alone pursue it) & come to an understanding that it’s actually possible to earn that much. Now I’m not going to BS you like most people & tell you that it’s a walk in the park. You’ve probably been indoctrinated by the masses in this space who have led you to believe that $10,000 per month is a piece of cake. It’s far from that. Even with the correct support, guidance & systems, it will still be a challenge. & that’s exactly how it is supposed to be. This is a BUSINESS where you are aiming to earn a LOT of money - that comes with several challenges to solve, both business & personal. Client retention is everything. There is no point in signing clients if you struggle to keep them. One of the most important aspects of client retention is having a world class support system. Many agencies believe that retention is solely centred around delivering great results. Whilst this is somewhat true, it isn’t the only thing that plays a part. Having a solid support system goes an extremely long way, to the point where even if you aren’t delivering the desired results, a world class support system can keep clients for longer that you’d expect. So it’s important to shift your perspective from delivering great results in order to retain clients, to delivering a great SERVICE. This not only includes delivering excellent results but a great client experience as well. The fastest & easiest way to $10k per month is to habitualize the act of outreach as if it is an essential part of your life. Treat it as important as drinking water on a day to day basis. Go as far as blocking off time for outreach & ignoring absolutely everything else. The problem that many people face is that they view doing outreach as optional. This is something that should NEVER be an option, especially when you are just starting your business. It is a bare ESSENTIAL that is required for you to scale your business & succeed. It’s not something that can be picked up, done & left for a couple of days. This is an activity that you MUST do every single day, without fail. If you are familiar with who I am, you know just how much I love client acquisition. It’s literally my bread & butter & what my entire business is centred around teaching. That being said, I also hate it to an extent. Reason being is because many business owners have fooled themselves into thinking that client acquisition is all they need to succeed. I’m a firm believer in the fact that you don’t need fancy things to succeed in business. You don’t need an oura ring. You don’t need a standing desk. You don’t need a fancy meditation headband. You simply don’t need these types of things in order for you to win. Is SMMA saturated? You’ve probably seen this topic raised a million times by now or at least similar renditions to it; ‘SMMA is dead’ ‘SMMA is saturated’ ‘SMMA no longer works’ You get the drift. The truth of the matter is that most of the people that claim it’s saturated either have failed in it or are trying to sell you an alternative to fill their own pockets. From my personal experience, I can wholeheartedly say that the concept of SMMA being ‘saturated’ is a heap of garbage. There are an abundance of businesses & markets who are in dire need of your services within this space. I’m proof of that. I literally built & scaled a 7-Figure agency (Northflow Consulting) in one of the most saturated niches ever; GYMS! Focus on what works. One of the main reasons why agency owners struggle to sign clients is due to their impulsiveness. They feel the need to constantly change things, when there is no need to change them at all. It’s so easy to fall into this trap because you use ‘improvement’ as the reason to constantly re-iterate. Now I’m a big fan of improving things, however, if something is working & it’s doing what I need it to do, I do not lay a finger on it. Me trying to improve an existing winning formula, can easily destroy the entire process. This is what so many agency owners tend to do. They fall into the trap of thinking that they need to constantly change things & reiterate. The truth of the matter is that once you have a system that works & is hitting your minimum KPIs, don’t bother messing with it. Simply scale it up. That’s literally all you need to do to get clients on a consistent basis. Don’t be a big fish in a small pond. It will do you no good whatsoever. When you start to succeed, you’ll hold yourself to a higher standard & ultimately start to believe that you are of great value. You’ll start to look around your current environment & realize that you are miles ahead of everyone around you. This is a fantastic feeling however it’s also extremely dangerous. Fantastic because it shows the amount of progress that you have made. Dangerous because it can give you the misconception that you are bigger than what you actually are. Once you start to get a taste of success & feel as if you are far ahead, it’s time to change your environment. It doesn’t serve you well to stay positioned in a place that is causing you to have the illusion that you have made it, when in fact there is so much more to be achieved. Do not get caught in this trap. Do whatever it takes to stay hungry & keep that fire within you alive, as you never want to settle too early. Change your environments, invest in new networks, etc, do whatever you can to place yourself in a position where you are miniscule in comparison to the rest - that is the best spot to be in. Success can make you millions but it can also make you miserable. You’ll spend years working, sweating & banging your head up against the wall day in, day out & then all of a sudden you have everything that you have wished for. There’s no need to work. There’s no need to sweat. & there’s certainly no need to bang your head on a wall. You’ve gone from going 100 miles per hour to having the luxury of parking up & finally getting to enjoy the view that you have chased for so long. Sounds great right? Well in my experience, it’s miserable. Now I know that sounds controversial but I am someone that loves the work. I have been conditioned for the past 4+ years in business to work day in & day out. Now I am in a position where I simply do not need to. I went from working 12+ hour days to now barely having to work any hours at all, with the business still being able to grow to a great standard. Whilst it is a positive problem to have, it can also be very detrimental to your future. One of the worst ways to get meetings is to buy false publications. This is where you pay to get featured in various media outlets to make it look like you have achieved a lot, when in fact you have achieved nothing. Whilst in theory it sounds good because it LOOKS like you have credibility by being featured in these publications, when in reality, all it takes is a bit of digging to uncover that whatever article has been posted about you has no substance whatsoever. As a result, paying for publications then does more harm than good as it damages your reputation a LOT, making it hard for people to trust you & what you have to say. That is why you want to focus on actually BEING good rather than paying to LOOK good. Have a great offer, a great service & a great acquisition system; these are the things that will actually generate you meetings on a consistent basis - not some falsified claims plastered across various media outlets. Your business is just like your body. They both have integral components in order for each of them to work to the best of their ability. One of the biggest mistakes you can make inside your business is to take your foot off the gas. This is far too common with so many agency owners when they first achieve some sort of decent success. You pick up a few clients, start making some decent money & then start to slow down as you assume you’ve earned the right to do so. The truth of the matter is that taking your foot off the gas is the LAST thing you want to do. Most clients won’t stay with you forever & as a result, you MUST keep your foot on the gas & keep that pipeline full. The past 9 months have been nothing short of pure pain. Day in, day out, I’ve been knee deep working on the new variation of our program, set to be announced VERY soon (keep an eye out!) $10k per month isn’t as hard as people make it out to be. Burnouts are probably one of the most frustrating things as an entrepreneur. If there’s a mistake I wish I avoided when starting my first company, it would be the one I talk about in today’s YouTube video. 4 years ago, when I was knee-deep in outreach with my first agency, I came across a study that taught me something about dopamine and psychology. If you don’t control your dopamine receptors, they will control you. Look at your life. It’s a product of your behaviour. Look at your behaviour; is it a product of the neurotransmitter dopamine? Dopamine runs people’s lives, and most people have no say or control in the way they unconsciously behave because their relationship with stimulus is ruined by dopamine. One delusion is see in the current internet business climate is the idea one needs to make big moves to get ahead. Early on (sub $100k/mo), it’s seldom about the big decisions you make. Napoleon once said “If you want it done, go. If you don’t, send”. This is a banger of a quote. It speaks logical sense in the current illogical market. Most people believe when starting their agency or coaching business they can outsource their success. They’re sold lies by gurus believing they can hire a setter, rep and media buyer (or coach) and have a business that runs without them before Christmas time. It’s bullshit, and if you believe this you are in for a nasty surprise. Here’s a harsh, ugly truth: done-for-you appointment booking solutions rarely work for business owners who don’t understand them. Well, there’s a few real exceptions - there are many talented setters out there. It’s never a skill-based issue, but an incentive based issue. What’s your SOP for dealing with engaged / positive replies that come from cold email or cold messaging? Chances are, you don’t have a framework for this. Shame - it’s probably costing you a fortune and you’re probably missing out on tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of dollars of missed rev. When prospects ask questions via cold message or cold email, it’s essential you answer in a certain way, otherwise you’ll lose them and will lose the hook you had them on. In todays’ video I lay out the framework I use to reply to prospects. I’ve booked an easy 2,000 calls in the last 5 years as an outbound emailer and cold messages, and this number would’ve been impossible to achieve without this framework. Should you aim to close clients in two calls, or one? The debate as to whether one or two call closing is the best practice has been going on for some time now. I’ve personally conducted 2200 discovery calls (my business partner recently counted) and I’ve followed a specific model for all of them, averaging out a 40% closing rate over my career. Because on sales calls, silence is without a doubt the single most important tool in your kit (or weapon in your arsenal). 6 months ago, Martin had no consistency in his agency. He’d grown to a certain level, but had hit a plateaux and his growth had levelled off. He was struggling to find new clients, generate appointments and build predictable cashflow. As I’m sure you can imagine, Martin wasn’t happy with this. So, he bought into some low-ticket courses and appointment setting done-for-you services, all of whom had promised him the world. Low and behold, after a few months of this, he was no further forward (and didn’t actually sign a single client from any of these investments). But then something happened…… (dramatically insert one single cold email, sent to Martin from yours truly) Martin hopped on a discovery call with me to learn more about our Program, the Imperium Agency Program. He was extremely skeptical, having been burned before, but after 25 minutes of back-n-forth objection handling I managed to get him onboard. 5 years ago I had a conversation with my lead university lecturer. I was 18, studying business and entrepreneurship at a university in south west England. “Raphael..” I asked, opening up a sentence to convey a serious doubt about my decision to go to university… “Yeah, what’s up Charlie?” Raphael asked. We were in the building of the faculty of business, surrounded by students typing away busily at keyboards, working on answers for tests they’d soon forget. “So, um, this course.. When do we.. um, learn… how to sell?” I’d read a book by a 9 figure entrepreneur saying sales was the most important skill an entrepreneur can learn, so I figured the course MUST cover it. His response shocked me. “Oh.. that’s a good one, um… well, to be honest, the course doesn’t teach sales. None of the lecturers at the faculty have really sold before so teaching a course on sales wouldn’t really work right?” I dropped out the next day, and didn’t look back. Back then, I was dead broke, and fucking desperate. I had no skills, next to no clients, no experience and nothing going for me. Fast forward 5 years and I’m making north of $100k/mo with my 12 month old coaching company, Imperium Agency, and clocking a similar 7 figure runrate for my agency, Northflow Consulting. What the happened in these 5 years? Work. Work happened. In today’s video, I break down my entire story of going from dead broke dropout to twice-over 7 figure entrepreneur. It’s not a very pretty story, and I can promise you ‘talent’ had nothing to do with it. Just pure, disgustingly long hours of work.

The agency appointment booking space is a mess. I don’t think there’s much doubt about it. It’s full of monkey-see, monkey-do ‘mentors’, appointment setters with false promises and coaching programs that leave you with more questions than they do answer. “How A Pack Of Cigarettes Got My 11 Month Old Agency To $95k/mo” Sounds pretty wild, right? I ran a pretty crazy experiment this month, and it led to me having a record month in my agency. I decided to keep a packet of cigarettes within arms reach of me for 4 weeks straight. Might sound like a weird thing to do, but it’s led to me going through my biggest psychological breakthrough yet. One that I’m about to share with you. I think it might just change your life. Spoiler: I didn’t smoke a single one. I used to smoke socially, quite frequently. Becoming conscious and aware of this habit, and then recognising that it didn’t contribute to the sense of self I wanted to achieve, I initially chose to follow the standard advice of ‘remove all stimulus associated with the habit and all environmental cues’. This worked, until I was faced with the cue, usually out with my friends. You cannot control your whole environment. So instead I thought I’d give the self help gurus the middle finger and do the total opposite. I decided to face off with the impulsive and compulsive side of me by actively putting the stimulus there, in front of me, within arms reach 24/7. I’ve learned from this that you can quite literally exercise your willpower, and that if you don’t, the principle of senescence kicks in (which is where skills and abilities wane with time if not practiced). Doing this has helped me book more discovery calls (100+ monthly), make more sales and close more clients. I know that sounds like a wild stretch just from keeping some cigarettes in my room, but let me explain. I could write a 5 page essay on the profound and deep psychological discoveries I’ve uncovered as a result of this experiment, but I chose instead to record a detailed and thorough 30 minute video.

Ever sent a bunch of cold emails or messages only to find you keep getting the same objection? Me too! And it’s normal. Sometimes we’ll receive a ‘cluster’ or ‘batch’ of objections, and this often leads to irrational judgements that significantly hinder our ability to make good decisions for our client acquisition processes. This has happened to one of our clients recently, who was booking 40-60 meetings per month using our systems (making an extra $15k/mo from it), where she then ran into back-to-back-to-back-to-back objections of the same nature. We helped her overcome this bottleneck and get back to the original flow of meetings she was experiencing. Impatience is an epidemic amongst agency owners, especially new ones. We want it all, and we want it all now. There’s nothing wrong with wanting it all, but there’s everything wrong with wanting it all now (or a few months from now). We must come to understand that to get what we want, we must deserve what we want, and the biggest variable in our success will be time. There’s no way around this time variable. However, I see a lot of agency owners fall into the trap of setting ridiculous short term goals (e.g. $0 - $10k/mo in the next 3 months) without actually having any experience or mentorship to back it up. They go for this goal only to fall extremely short and get discouraged, eventually quitting. I just finished recording a video explaining 2 things you can do to develop much more patience so that you can finally relax and start to develop a healthier, longer term attitude to your work.

Based on the data I've compiled and observed, I can confidently say the hardest niche to grow and scale an agency in is e-commerce. Now, for anyone in the e-com niche, I don't want you to panic or suddenly niche hop. Instead I want you to understand WHY it's proving harder and harder to land clients. The good news is that if you're finding it hard, so is everyone else. You just have to be smarter, more innovative and offer a better service. Having helped scale dozens of e-com agencies I can tell you it is ENTIRELY POSSIBLE to get clients and scale in the e-commerce niche. Adam Kagan (Equa Social) landed 3 E-com clients in 30 days with our stuff.. Tadhg Varden (Advert Funnel) landed 15 meetings in the first 2 weeks with out stuff... John-Mark Hazard & Arturo Menal (Beyond Growth) doubled their ecom agency in the first 6 weeks of working with us.. Ketu Lenepa (Midas Touch Media) signed an e-com deal within 7 days of singing with us.. However even though we've provided agencies with some pretty lethal strategies, we always find lead gen agencies scale to that 'multi six figure promise land' faster... But it's possible.. Don't get discouraged by this. One of the most common strategies for client acquisition in the agency space is revolves around sending cold Looms. Looms require a lot of effort to produce, and it’s pretty heartbreaking when you spend 10 minutes of focused work to find your Looms get no meetings, let alone positive responses, let alone views… Most people struggle to get clients with cold Looms: They put in too much effort to get nothing back Looms often go unwatched Prospects have seen too many Looms and have ‘banner blindness’ to them Fortunately, my partner and I have figured out how to do Loom quite well. In fact, in the last 5 months, we’ve received around 280 positive replies and have booked just shy of 200 discovery calls with them - that’s around 40 meetings a month, or 10 meetings a week from Loom. Whenever I ask agency owners to describe how they feel about sales calls in one word, I usually get these responses… “Intimidated” “Nervous” “Anxious” “Uncertain” “Scared shitless” (two words but this is my personal favourite) To grow an agency you have to take sales calls. There isn’t really any way around it. Outsourcing this in the early days is asking for a disaster. You gotta slog them out yourself. If you’re scared of doing these calls, you’re going to subconsciously transfer your emotions to the prospect, in turn making them scared to work with you, or nervous as to whether or not you can actually deliver results. Also, this fear is probably driving a subconscious desire to not take action towards appointment booking (if you’ve ever lacked the motivation to get appointments, it’s probably rooted in a fear of what happens when you do). Today’s video is geared towards helping you understand WHY these fears exist. Once you understand the root of this fear you’ll be able to take proactive action to solving it. We all know that outreach is the single most important activity to growing an agency in the early days, so why can’t you do it consistently? Why do you commit to following an outreach method, only to tail off after a few days or leave huge gaps in the week where you don’t send anything? Why do you stop? Why do you struggle to stay consistent with what you know is the #1 activity to drive growth in your agency? These questions are disgustingly painful to answer. Having personally consulted with 110 agencies on their outreach process, I can confidently conclude the biggest issue they face is doing the damn work and staying consistent. If you can solve this problem, achieving your revenue goal and scaling becomes 10x easier and will feel like a breeze. And boy am I here to solve! It’s a nasty battle. You want a better life, but part of you drags you down and stops you from climbing and scaling. Advice is everywhere. You're probably flooded with it. Content - blogs, videos, podcasts, books, courses, programs, the lot. Understanding how to digest this advice, filter through the bullshit and figure out what is actually going to get you to 'X $$ GOAL' is now a more important skill than ever, and it's one you can develop in the next 15 minutes. The truth is that the actions that get you to $10k/mo are NOT the actions that will get you to $100k/mo. Chances are you are taking $100k/mo actions right now (e.g. hiring a team), but you haven't given your business the contextual foundation it needs for these actions to actually create the initial effect you need to hit (e.g. $10k/mo first), and hence you're stuck. Understand that goals stack and to hit higher goals you must build a 'ladder of context'. If you want to get to $100k/mo, first focus on trying to get to $50k/mo. If you haven't got to $50k, focus on $25k. If you haven't got $25k, focus on $10k. If you haven't got $10k, focus on $5k. If you haven't got $5k/mo, focus on getting $1k. If you're trying to get to $100k a month before you've even made $10k/mo, you're really going to screw things up for yourself, and end up with nothing. Starting and growing an agency is like driving a car at night. You have to focus on what's 2M in front of you with your headlamps on. If you try looking 3 miles down the road you're going to wrap your car around a tree and end up in serious trouble. Program your 'sat nav' (your subconscious) to the end goal, then put relentless focus on the next few meters. How do you get more meetings? Consistent outreach. No shit, Charlie. But how do you stay consistent? It’s hard, because it’s a really painful activity, but consistency is not impossible. The answer? To being consistent with outreach? Fall in love with it. Love? Outreach? You’re probably thinking I’m off my rocker here, but bear with me. The same applies to sales calls, and cold calls. Activities most people hate. When you hate something you are less likely to do it, let alone do it well. Quite obvious, but rarely remedied. I used to despise outreach, sales calls and cold calls. What is holding your agency back from closing more clients? Why is your sales conversion rate low? Why do you seem to only get prospects that 'aren't the right fit'? If you think the answer to these questions is down to 'poor lead quality', you need to watch this video. The idea of poor lead quality is often a scapegoat for a poor sales process. It's easier to blame the prospect and the 'fit' than yourself if a call doesn't close, and this 'easy way out' is preventing 90% of Agency Owners from growing and actually making tangible financial progress. Responsibility is the cornerstone to progress, but you already knew that. So why is it if a call doesn't close, you have a tendency to project the reasoning onto the prospect and their situation, as opposed to your ability to actually close and handle their objections? Understand: Objections do NOT equal a bad fit. They merely demonstrate a lack of trust (which you are fully responsible for building). Understand: If a prospect is hard to close, it does NOT mean they are a bad fit, it may just mean you need to sharpen your sales skills. This video might 'hit hard' but it's a message everyone who isn't closing deals at the rate they'd like needs to hear.

For the past 4 and a half years in the agency space I’ve watched as people argue and debate over the ‘Quality vs Quantity’ outreach conundrum. One side screams: “Volume is key, email is a numbers game!!!” The other side screams: “Quality and value is key, less is more!!!” I’ve been sat on the sidelines watching this argument unfold, and as an observer and someone who has successfully booked 1000+ discovery calls with organic attraction, I’ve found the right answer. So who is right? What’s ultimately better for appointment booking?? The answer: neither. Quantity sucks, and so does quality. Let me explain...
