In this episode, we dive into why OBs and doulas need to stop trashing one another and focus on supporting the woman giving birth through productive conversation. 

The best thing we can do for our clients is to connect on a human level first. 

Dr. Nicole Rankins is a practicing OB-GYN who supports advocacy and empowerment in childbirth. She runs a top-rated podcast called “All Things Pregnancy and Birth” where she discusses supportive, evidence-based information, as well as stories from parents and moms-to-be. 

Nicole also has an online course that helps moms prepare for birth and understand the importance of advocating for the birth experience they want.
