Now, let's discuss that last F1 Therapy session. Nick's disdain for Drive to Survive might raise a few eyebrows, and rightly so. While some of his criticisms may seem justified, others veer into questionable territory. Yes, Nick, we hear you loud and clear: the series might not capture the true essence of Formula 1 for die-hard fans, but do we really need to bring Finnish people into this? And let's not even get started on the misogyny. Nick, we love you, but you may want to consider seeing an actual therapist. However, amidst the chaos of conflicting emotions, there's a glimmer of truth in Nick's perspective that we can't ignore. From questions about Guenther Steiner's potential preferences in the bedroom, to converting Danica Patrick into a conspiratorial fox news host (redundant?). I do my best to unpack these topics and balance the lunacy.

Without a doubt this will be one of my most controversial takes on F1 This episode I ask whether we should care if a driver is "quick" or not. A lot of pundits use this adjective to describe drivers they think are good in F1 all the way to F4 and regional leagues. Does being "quick" really tell us who a champion is? And if not, should we care if a driver is considered "quick"? Am I talking out of my ass? Or am I on to something? What do you think?
Thu, January 25, 2024
In Todays Episode Nick talks about why the current points system creates the mediocrity in the driver market that we see today. Is it time to change the points system back to the ways of old?
