If you have missed hearing from incredible people who push the boundaries of their sport, we have got something beyond the ordinary for you. Mind Set Win is a podcast about how we can apply the mental tactics that elite athletes use to our everyday lives. BMX legend Daniel Dhers joined hosts Cédric Dumont and York Peter-Klöppel to reveal his key to competing at the highest level. Daniel talks about being prepared for something to go wrong at any moment – no matter how unlikely it seems. He also talks about how this attitude has enabled him to build a long and successful career. it’s not about always having the perfect solution in stressful situations, but rather not panicking, and taking things step-by-step. Hosts Cédric and York expand on TJ’s mindset techniques by offering guidance on how to best create our own long-term plans - and actually stick with them! The trick here is to begin thinking about what obstacles you might encounter along the way while setting your goals, as the path to achieving them is “never a straight line”. Does this sound like it could be useful to you? We recommend you check out Mind Set Win for more tips and tricks on how you can harness the winning mindset of the world's leading sports professionals! Get in touch with us podcast@redbull.com!

Snowboarder and Olympian Jess Rich has had to contend with fear and push past her comfort zone throughout her career. Jess didn’t grow up in the snow and never dreamt that she’d one day compete in the winter Olympics. Jess made her Olympic debut in the new Olympic discipline of women's snowboard Big Air at PyeongChang 2018. The Sydney-sider, who originally intended to compete in both slopestyle and Big Air, ruptured her ACL only one month before the Games and was forced to sit out of the snowboard slopestyle but was given medical clearance to compete in Big Air. Jess was one place shy of qualifying for the final after placing 13th in the qualification runs at PyeongChang; however two clean runs was an impressive performance for the injury recovering Olympic debutant. Jess placed seventh in slopestyle at her World Cup debut in 2015. In February 2016, she placed eighth in slopestyle at the Winter Olympic Test Event at Bokwang Park. Following her top-10 performances she signed her first professional contract with the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia. She broke into the top-10 an additional four times before she stepped up to the Olympic stage in February 2018. Make sure you hit follow to be the first to hear the latest episodes. This is a long read taken from RedBull.com. When the F1 season started in Austria, coming back after the break due to Coronavirus, teams were very limited in the number of people they could bring with them. That only increased the importance of the ‘left behind’ operation back at the team HQ in Milton Keynes. As well as people who support designing, developing and constructing the car, there is a group stationed in the ‘Operations Room’ who play a key role. The Ops Room is not open to the public and what goes on there has always been shrouded in secrecy. Writer, Dave Rawlings, was given special access. Chicks in Bowls, Athens meet regularly to skate, express themselves, and explore new corners of the city together. This is a long read taken from The Red Bulletin magazine. Cooped up during the pandemic, a crew of Wyoming outdoor athletes decided to bring the adventure closer to home. They planned a local mountain triathlon – colloquially known as a ‘picnic’ – and a new event they named the Laramie Brunch was born. Written by Mark Jenkins, this story is a reminder that you don’t have to go far to challenge yourself. It’s one of the toughest races in the world and it takes place in some of the most challenging locations on the planet, but beyond that, how much do you know about the Dakar Rally and the men and women who literally risk everything to cross the finish line? In this episode, we immerse ourselves in this world of speed, sand and sleep deprivation! Guided by TV host Caroline De Moraes, a veteran of Dakar Daily broadcasts and with the insight of someone who knows a thing or two about how tough it really is, Dakar winner Sam Sunderland. We cover everything you need to know about the iconic event which pushes every competitor to their absolute limit. How do you navigate through a barren desert without any tracks? How does your body hold up to hours of riding over punishing terrain? How do you make sure that your vehicle holds up to hours of thrashing through thousands of kilometres of sand? And how do you maintain mental fortitude when you’ve miles driven off course, or there’s a chance you could get struck by lightning? All subjects we’ll touch on in this episode. As well as hearing some of Sam’s experience in this gruelling event, we also hear from Motorsport royalty and Dakar veteran, Carlos Sainz, and the female biker pushing the men to find another gear out in the dunes, ten-time Dakar finisher, Laia Sans.
