With many giving praise to the new Batman film ("The Batman"),  Formidable Opponents has decided to take a look back at the history of Batman films -- more specifically, the stars who donned the cape, cowl and rubber nippled armor.    We have now witness different cinematic interpretations of this comic book legend spanning five consecutive decades.  Together we have rejoiced, celebrated and at times questioned and winced at the attempts of the iterations that noted filmmakers have gifted us throughout our lifetimes.   No matter which superhero is your favorite, you cannot deny the caped crusader has captivated moviegoers more than any other comic book icon.   This week, we ask George Clooney for our $4.59 back...ahem, we mean discuss who best portrayed Batman.  Forgive us for the growls.
