51: Processing grief from a child's death as a family (5-10yo)
Danielle is a mom of 4, but sadly her son Blake died of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) at 18 months of age about 8 years ago. Her living kids are now 5, 6, and 10 years old, and Danielle's husband is a farmer while she works at a university. Tess and Jordan are both working parents in Florida with their 9-month-old, Emmett. Emmett is one of those mythical unicorn babies who started sleeping through the night early, with 8-hour stretches starting at 10 weeks. 2: Karla and Lee raise 3 kids (5, 4, & 1.5 yrs) while living far from family
Karla and Lee have three kids: Quinn (5 years), Cameran (4 years), and Chase (1.5 years). Karla is a stay-at-home mom who also works part-time from home and Lee's military career means they all live far from family support. Karla and Lee also share Karla's plan of attack for taking three kids out of the house on fun excursions and the challenge of attending to each child's individual needs with three kids so close in age.
