Monsters. Cryptids. Hauntings. Demons. Historical Mysteries. Wild Talents...And much more. From the steaming, sometimes lovely, often terrifying town of Mugwamp, Louisiana, your host Vic Hermanson, his ghostly, cybernetic pal Boudreaux, Annabelle Lee, Beelzebubba, and Wilbur the Ethereal Pest Control Specialist guide you through lands of terror, mystery, human misery and human potential, discovery, wonder, and occasionally, the philosophy of human thought and learning. There's simply not another podcast like it.

Chris James, host of the Strange Things With Chris James podcast, returns to TTT to talk about a rarely heard moon landing conspiracy theory. I've never heard this particular theory...when it comes to NASA, that's hard to do. Plus, we bounce around to a number of USDA Grade A Hermanson / James Rabbit Holes. You will enjoy! PS: Here's the Black Slimy Goat Grabber! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zABUkK1V6j8

I screwed up. I used a section of a Pink Floyd song that I thought fell under the protection of fair use. Spotify disagreed, so I had to replace 22.7 seconds of "Keep Talking." So,I've fixed it with a cool little composition out of Smart Sound. What's the show about? Hey, it's a Rundown from the Gang of Nerds! It's about "dis, dat, and de uder thing!" How about giving it a go! Here's the original description: It's another fully accelerated, pedal to the metal PARANORMAL RUNDOWN, jointly produced by Trailer Trash Terrors and Southern Demonology! This time Dave, JJ, and Vic have a guest, and not just any old guest! Father Michael Birdsong brings his deep theological and historical knowledge to the rundown. It's the the most ambitious episode of Trailer Trash terrors yet, and truly a good time. Tell your family! Tell your friends! Tell strangers on the street! The Paranormal Rundown has returned!

In Episode 135, Vic Hermanson disusses, along with Dave Griffith, the whole idea of "Lost Stories." Over the Years, there have been many stories he has read and loved, but then "lost" the title and the author's name. But the stories are still there in all their glory! Perhaps you can help him out, or add some "lost stories" of your own. If you leave a comment here, please email it to TTT also so I can respond. Trailer Trash Terrors returns with a story of one man's experience during the Death March of Bataan in 1942, told as well as Vic Hermanson can remember it. It's a story of true-terror, where the paranormal aspect of it was overshadowed by the terror that standard flesh and blood men could bring. Oh, and Boudreaux gets the title wrong. Hey, he's out of practive too!

In episode 133 of TTT, Vic Hermanson addresses several realities: (1) God does not usually speak to us, or at least him. But, sometimes, God makes it clear as to what he is supposed to do. (2) The podcast is part one of three talking about his vert "chaotic" walk with God. But, there are some fun things to talk about along the way...glossolalia, emergency bible reading...lots of things. Write to us at TrailerTrashTerrors@gmail.com

Trailer Trash Terrors is back again, with episode 132. Where do you feel yourself to exist in your body? That was the question that would not leave me alone, or let me sleep. Heidegger called that (I think... Heidegger is pretty tough!) the "Dasein," If you have an OOBE, what is your "point of origin," and "point of return"? Come and delve into the very best of Trailer Trash Philosophy with Vic Hermanson as he does a solo episode.

Episode 131 of Trailer trash Terror delves into the movie "Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose." I, Vic Hermanson say it's a great movie, that does a fantastic job of making Gef, the famous talking mongoose to life, and also does a great job of asking some important philosophical question about the world of the paranormal, the minds of men, and the mysteries that bring wonder to the world. Gef was one weird little dude.

Trailer Trash Terrors is back!!! This is episode 130, where we learn about Full Colonel of the German Democratic Republic (or East Germany), a brilliant man who told me the story of the Soviet "Werwolves," that were used, according to him to prevent escapes from the rural areas of the GDR. Then Dave Griffith, paranormal investigator extraordinaire, takes a short trip with me into the real om necromancy. Annabell Lee closes out the show!

In episode 129 of the Trailer trash Terrors podcast, Vic Hermanson continues his extended email interview with Elizabeth, the Nebuchad Symbiont Vampire that is approaching 1000 years of age. She sees Houdini in 1916. You learn how she disposes of a body per day! You learn her full name, and much, much more. If you would like to join the TTT Discord Server, which is every bit as weird as the podcast, perhaps more, here is an invitation link! https://discord.gg/8enbRMHh

In episode 128 of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast, Vic Hermanson delves into some of the thought processes he explored in the growth and evolution of the Elizabeth the Vampire character. Father Michael Birdsong, Deacon Josh Birdsong, Dave Griffith (paranormal investigator) delve deep into what might happen if a vampire, that HAD to kill humans to survive, were to approach an ordained priest to see if absolution, through confession, were possible. But as usual, we delve into multiple peripheral concepts.

In what I am numbering episode 127 of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast, I, Vic Hermanson, bring you an entirely new story-arc for Elizabeth, the 480 year old vampire first presented to the world by Dr. Stephen Kaplan in 1984, in the book "Vampires Are." It seems she has gone silent all these years. In a totally fictional, but carefully researched episode, I explore what a new correspondence stream with Elizabeth might be like. She's changed since 1984: she's stronger, both more human, and less human, and her understanding of the world is no longer stuck in the 17th century. I've worked on this version of Elizabeth more than long enough to know, love, and yes, even fear her. i think it's worth you time to listen. With this episode, which is a bit experimental, I would greatly appreciate feedback from you, the listeners. This is part one of two, of the new Elizabeth saga.

In episode 126, we meet Marilyn Hudson, the Paranormal Librarian. She talks with Vic Hermanson about a book that seems to occupy a place of "ontological superposition," both existing and not existing at the same time. The supposed book, "Oltissis: Ancient Greek Gods and Lore Revisited," by Federico Iaonnides, (one of several possible spellings) has occupied Vic Hermanson's quite limited mind for years! It may or may not have been published, in France, in 1962. A copy of it may or may not have been purchased in a public library by Ted Connors, security expert, around 2010. It may or may not have been confiscated by Homeland Security or a similar governmental agency in 2011. It may or may not have been related to the "dragonfly drones" that were seen in many parts of the world about that time, frequently discussed by Art Bell. Those drones may or may not have been information gather devices sent to Earth by the "Oltissians." Plus, Annabelle Lee reads what I'll call the "Declaration of Oltissis," and Beelzebubba gives Vic Hermanson some much needed correction! This episode was an absolute blast to create, Marilyn Hudson is a delightful guest, and if you love complex, cerebral mysteries, you'll love this episode. Here's a link to Marilyn's blog: https://paranormallibrarian.blogspot.com/2011/07/book-that-wasnt.html

For this one, you will definitely need a comfy chair, some popcorn, and to plan on a bio-break or two. In episode 125 of TTT, Vic Hermanson gives Brad free reign to talk about his genuine belief in the Flat Earth "conjecture" to his heart's content. He does so with aplomb! Brad is neither a troll, nor a Poe...he's an honest, articulate man, who has deeply studied his position. Plus, throw in a little standard Trailer Trash Terrors weirdness, an appearance by Annabelle Lee, Some crocodiles (of course,) a Mugwamp story or two, and it's a fun time for all!

I'll call this episode 124-A. It's the first, and I hope, only political episode of Trailer Trash Terrors. Sometimes a man just can't be silent.
Sun, July 07, 2024
Episode 124 of the Trailer Trash Terrors episode is a genuine work of passion. I started off as an episode about Guillotines, then I shifted to discussing Billy George Hughes, a man who killed my cousin, State Trooper Mark Allan Frederick in 1976. Over time, and actually in a logical fashion, I get back the Guillotine, in all of it's lore and gory wonder. You'll hear the real story of Languille, direct from the original newspaper article. Plus, you get to hear Beelzebubba be a cheerleader. He's the best! Oh, and I almost forgot, I do a qui a quick review of the classic novel, "My First Head Transplant." I'm still one week behind, but I'm catching up. In episode 123 of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast, I give the reigns for most of the show to Father Michael Birdsong. He talks with Tracie Bush about Gifts of the Spirit. Tracie recounts multiple fascinating stories about her life, including an actual physical miracle.

In episode 122 of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast, Vic Hermanson is joined by Father Michael Birdsong, as well as Deacon Josh Birdsong. This one covers a lot! The Sith, The Code of the Sith, discernment of spirits, the sins of the father, The infancy gospel of Thomas, and Gifts of the spirit. Father Birdsong uses the phrase "Kingdom Stuff," as he talks about the striving of mankind to be fully part of the Kingdom of God. That includes, learning to understand the paranormal.

Hi. Vic Hermanson here. Episode 121 of the Trailer trash Terrors podcast features Tracie Bush, host of the "In The Dark: Dogmen, Bigfoot, and All Things Supernatural" podcast. Tracie has not only talked to dozens of guests with astounding paranormal experiences, she has had a great many herself. It was an an honor interviewing her. You'll find her experiences, and her understanding of the world to be profound, thought provoking, and very entertaining.

In episode 120, Vic Hermanson discusses his recent diagnosis of being "autistic," at least to a certain degree, and discusses how people with that diagnosis tend to interact with the paranormal world.
Wed, May 29, 2024
In episode 119 of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast, Vic Hermanson returns to the theme of invisibility, using the Ambrose Bierce story "The Damned Thing" as a jumping off point. Of course, the Lawrence Livermore invisible bigfoot has to be thrown in for good measure! He ends with a little Devil's Dictionary, also by Ambrose Bierce. Here's the Project Gutenberg link to "The Devil's Dictionary."

Episode 118 is the fifth and final episode of the Trailer Trash Terrors Monster Chronicles . It's a panel discussion with Vic, JJ Johnson, Father Birdsong, Chris James, and Dave Griffith, paranormal investigator extraordinaire. We do the best we can to define the essential characteristics of monsters, and, as usual, fail miserably! Or maybe you'll disagree! We also talk about the aspect of evil being a part of "monsterhood," and finally, we have some fun talking about the dreaded, and clearly evil Nephilim- Ewok hybrid .
Wed, May 15, 2024
Episode 117 is the fourth segment of the Trailer Trash Terrors Monster Chronicles. Of course it's weird...but I don't think it disappoints. We have Newt from Alien, Sadaam the chimp, genetically engineered chimps, the SLAM nuclear plane, Spring-heeled Jack, The Partridge Creek Monster, the Kandahar Giant, and a new hypothesis about "Homo Sanguinas," a naturally evolved type of vampire. Oh...that's more than six! My bad. Plus, Boudreaux gets some hate mail! Here's a link to a peer reviewed paper about the mathematics of vampires and human "coexisting." chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.m-hikari.com/ams/ams-2013/ams-9-12-2013/strielkowskiAMS9-12-2013.pdf Here's the YouTube link to "Grave Robbing for Morons.' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWFosb98Kec&t=671s

In episode 116 of The Trailer Trash Terrors podcast, Vic Hermanson joins forces with the amazing and eclectic mind of JJ Johnson, host of Southern Demonology, and a true expert on Japanese monsters...the Yokai. It's always fascinating to hear the thoughts of a mind like JJ's!
Wed, May 01, 2024
In episode 115 of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast, Vic Hermanson tries to create categories of monsters, and delves into the mental processes common to those monsters with 46 chromosomes. He goes back in time to revisit those monster movies that first warped his mind. "The Monster Chronicles" series is growing, and will now probably be four episodes.
Thu, April 25, 2024
In episode 114 of TTT, Vic Hermanson is 100 percent, laser focused on monsters, which is actually his favorite topic. He talks about Carl, a patient that many nurses thought was a human-ape hybrid. He talks about Teratomas, which genuinely can look monstrous. He talks about the man-eating tree of Madagascar, plus much, much more. Then, as he often does, he gets all philosophical and tries to figure out what a monster is. Does he succeed? Listen and find out!
Wed, April 17, 2024
This is the first TTT Tidbit episode in a long time. You get to meet Acadia, a feminine cyberintelligence programmed by Boudreaux to give him an occasional "freaking break"! And, I tell you all about the Willowampus! It was pie-bald, the size and general shape of a large wolf, had feathers on the back part of its body and huge wings! Nobody has seen it since 1916...but that does not mean its gone!
Tue, April 16, 2024
In episode 112, I'm joined by Dave Griffith to talk about whether or not Daniel Dunglas home cold have won the James Randi Educational Foundation Paranormal Challenge. I personally don't think anyone can win the challenge, even if they levitate elephants on stage while juggling nuclear weapons and doing a Lady Gaga impersonation. Here's Boudreaux's intro to give you the full story: Greetings temporal humans. This is Boudreaux, the nebulo-chaotic, cybernetic ghost from the future. I like that word, that adjective of the week, nebulo-chaotic c. That clearly describes my state of being for this episode. It means hazy and confused. Even if that is the case, it is my job to welcome you to episode 112 of the trailer Trash Terrors Podcast. In this episode, Vic joins forces with Dave Griffith, and they take a long, albeit entertaining drunkard’s walk through total solar eclipses, Kung Fury, Godzilla X Kong, Krell metal Giant ape cybernetic arms, Ancient astronomers, the Carrot myth, Daniel Dunglas Home, and the James Randi Educational Foundation One Million Dollar Prize. Can you see why I’m nebulo-chaotic? I think I’ll title this episode, The Great James Randi and Daniel Dunglas Home Showdown.

It took 111 episodes of TTT, but finally, I'm publishing a rant episode. What's it about? Scientists, philosophers, savants, and jugglers are still arguing about that, and may be doing so for many years. Well, it's distantly, about an Australian flat Earther whom I'm calling Huck Goodpasture. That's a great name, huh! We never get to the flat Earth part...at least not in this episode. I also talk civil discourse, or the current lack thereof, unusually large male genitalia, dying alone, being hospitalized during the time of Covid, and how deeply I love stories. Plus we get the unique perspective of Father Michael Birdsong, host of the Ending the Curse podcast. It should be a good time for all! Additionally, this episode is robot and disembodied consciousness free! They'll be back next week.
Sat, March 30, 2024
In episode 110 of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast, I am joined by JJ Johnson, host of "Southern" Demonology, and briefly by Father Michael Birdsong, host of "Ending the Curse." We start off talking about the deeply interesting SCP foundation, move to the nature of language, people who base ther identities on fiction. Plus, in a world-first, Beelzebubba sings The Philosophers Song, by Monty Python!
Wed, March 27, 2024
Episode 109 of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast gives you the latest info on the great Captain Kangaroo scandal, the "Inner Earth," and amazing journalist from the past, J. Francyl Howard, and Mrs. McClendoRodrigoStein to tell all the young ladies anticipating holy matrimony how to sexually tame their future husbands.
Tue, March 19, 2024
Episode 108 is the continuation of Vic Hermanson's hospital stories. You'll hear of the cockroach man, the gangster's shoes, a truly severe case of Munchausen syndrome, Being "invisible," doll's teeth, and two stories of when sex goes really wrong. There is explicit content in this show, if that sort of thing bothers you.
Sat, March 16, 2024
In episode 107, Vic Hermanson presents five stories from his time as an ED, ICU, Surgical, and Medical-Surgical nurse. Some are about the imperfection of all people, some are about truly frightening patients, and some are about the way that humans develop, and maintain hope in even the most difficult circumstances. Part one of three. Sensitive subjects are discussed in this episode.
Tue, March 12, 2024
In episode 106 of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast, Vic has the one and only Chris James, host of the "Strange Things with Chris James" podcast as his guest. The conversation ranges to how Chris James got started in podcasting, to white creatures under bridges, border patrol pranks, the ubiquitous Laredo girl-child ghost, to the first plane ever used in the US military, and much-much more. There really are VERY few guests who can speak on as many topics as Chris James.

Episode 105 brings us Chris and Dean of The Wandering Road Podcast. They are superlative thinkers, speakers, and students of the paranormal. Have you ever wondered how many people might actually be non-playable characters? How many people have EVER lived? Why religion changes as technology advances? Listen and find out! This week's introduction by request, is made by Beelzebubba, our resident former minion of evil.

In episode 104 of TTT, we hear the astounding story of Tracey, who as a child was protected by benevolent and steadfast apparitions, as she grew in a chaotic and abusive household, outside of Glasgow, Scotland. It's an amazing story. In part two of this episode we talk about Patience Worth Wee Curran, as child who was adopted through the urging of the original Patience Worth, a 17th century English weaver. It's also an amazing story.
Tue, February 20, 2024
Episode 103 of Trailer Trash Terrors has two guests, both talking about Dowsing. Dave Griffith talks about the use of dowsing in treasure hunting, and how not all dowsers can detect the same things. George Anthony talks about Dowsing as a type of divination, and how St. Helena, the mother of Emperor Constantine used a type of dowsing to find the true cross. Plus, we have lots of other hijinks sprinkled about!
Mon, February 12, 2024
In episode 102 of Trailer Trash Terrors, we see the return of Paranormal Will. He talks about the personal cost of engaging with the paranormal, which can be quite high. He discusses what can only be classified as a deliberate, paranormal attack. Also, Wilbur, the ethereal pest control expert reads a 1976 newspaper article about the "Philip Experiment." Here's a link to a quite well done documentary about Philip, that was made in 1974. https://youtu.be/tSFkxkrSM9o?si=iwWwde9HfshGJjIv

In episode 101 of the Trailer Trash Terrors Podcast, Vic Hermanson dives deep into the weird world of the Quadro Tracker and similar devices. Schools, police departments, border patrols, and even armies across the globe have bought them, believing these devices can detect explosives, drugs, drug-users, weapons, and essentially any other form of contraband. The FBI and Scotland Yard say they are fraudulent, but customers are happy...and in many cases, very happy. Join Vic for a deep discussion of these devices, as well as the human psychology of belief.

Hear Ye, hear ye! This is the 100th episode of the Trailer Trash Terrors Podcast! I'm proud of that...really very proud. This episode is devoted to two things. First, we have a serious interview with Dr. Bert, a Psychiatrist from Holland, discussing the mysteries of the mind. Second, I relate a Cryptid experience to Dr. Bert that I had only previously told to two people. It was, indeed, a terrifying, life changing event. Warning: This episode does discuss suicide in a very frank and open fashion. Thanks for your support through 100 episodes!

Episode 99 of Trailer Trash Terrors centers around an article published in 1934, and written by Francis Dickie, who in many ways, was the Canadian Earnest Hemmingway. The article discusses the return of the "Sasquatch," a tribe of huge men, primitive me, troglodytic men, but men, nonetheless. At that time in Canadian history, the Sasquatch were just generally accepted as an unquestioned part of reality. I hope I did Francis Dickie justice.

If anyone delves into the preternatural world long enough, it is Vic Hermanson's belief that protection against negative forces will sooner or later become required. In this episode, George Anthony, the host of the St. Elias Report podcast discusses the rules of engagement of battling the enemy...the evil enemy. It's a battle in which we must all eventually engage.
Wed, January 24, 2024
This is episode 97 of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast. Vic Hermanson expand on episode 96 by doing a deep dive and analysis of a series of articles written in the 1941 El Paso Times, about TW Kelley, Highly successful purveyor of human oddities , veterinarian, expert raconteur, and likely expert BS artist. I think you'll enjoy this episode.
Wed, January 24, 2024
This is episode 96 of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast. It's all about what the world has called "fr**ks," fr**k-shows, their history, and how their impact on society simply cannot be dismissed. To be honest, I think it's one of the best shows I've ever done. Also, Beelzebubba returns! I hate the need to use the asterisks...honest conversation is one of the absolute requirements of a free society.
Sat, January 20, 2024
In this episode Trailer Trash Terrors, guided by Vic Hermanson delves into the subject of apologies. This is an important topic: it's important to human life, and it's surprisingly important in the world of the paranormal. You'll get angry hearing the deception of Peter Popoff, and there will be no remaining question about how weird Vic Hermanson truly is!
Sat, January 13, 2024
IS postmodernism simply another valid step in the ongoing history of philosophical thought, or the death-knell of individuality, human dignity and societal freedom? Or neither? Or something in between? Vic Hermanson talks to a genuine academic expert in the field, JJ Johnson, and they take the long road to find some genuine terrors. Cyrus Thibodaux steps in because Vic Hermansomn has "Covid Voice"

What the heck happened at the Miami mall? Aliens? Demons? Other supernatural entities simply wanting to make a return, or use a supernatural gift-card? Vic Hermanson and the gang of nerds strive mightily, to find out!
Mon, January 08, 2024
I get more questions about Annabelle Lee than any other part of the Podcast. What's her origin story? Where did she come from? Even, "Is she a real girl?" The always beneficent Vic Hermanson has come to the rescue, and here is the origin story of everybody's ambiguously creepy little girl! She also announces a new part of the show..."Ask Annabelle!" (There is one curse word in this episode, unlike most TTT episodes.)
Sat, January 06, 2024
This is the second part of the three part Tendril-Connected World Series. The focus ranges from Art Bell to ascended masters beneath Swiss Mountains and a discussion of the arms of the dragon. It's a fun ride!
Mon, January 01, 2024
Like Neo, do you sometimes feel that you sense myriad existential connections, connections that are far more felt than seen in the world around you? Have you explored these "tendril" and found answers very hard to get? So have I. So have my guests. This is part one of two, or perhaps even three episodes that deeply explore what we might possibly learn about the hidden, tendril connected world. Hint: Sasquatch reports are every bit as important as calculus in exploring this world.
Fri, December 29, 2023
Vic Hermanson takes a "memory-trip" to the bayou's of old Louisiana, learns about the "sons of Esau" in the woods, Catholic tenets, and gets a child's inkling that some moral concepts simply cannot be compromised, at least not without causing extreme damage. There are strong opinions expressed, unapologetically, in this episode, along with the stories and allegories. Listen at your own risk.
Mon, December 25, 2023
In this episode, the 88th overall Trailer Trash Terrors episode, we bid farewell to Dickens, talk about some of the paranormal aspects of his stories, and hear the Anders, Lovell, and Borman message from their orbit around the moon.
Sun, December 24, 2023
In the 87th episode of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast, we complete the reading of "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. Yeah, my voice cracks a few times...that means I'm human. Also, we hear a few seconds of the Mr. Magoo adaptation of the story, a surprisingly great song called "The Lord's Bright Blessing." Annabelle Lee shows us to the door! God bles us everyone!
Sat, December 23, 2023
This is the 86th episode of The Trailer Trash Terrors podcast. Tonight, we hear the longest of the three staves (chapters) so far, which is the story of the second spirit foretold by Marley, the Ghost of Christmas Present. I can't tell you enough how wonderful the writing is. I just hope I do it some justice in the reading. At the end, you also get to hear Father Michael Birdsong's Christmas message, and a shout out to the Southern Demonology podcast, and the Strange Things Podcast With Chris James. "God bless us everyone!"
Thu, December 21, 2023
This is the second Stave, or "chapter" of a Christmas Carol, in which Scrooge encounters the Ghost of Christmas Past. As I read this, carefully for the first time in years, it becomes obvious just what an incredible genius Dickens was, in terms of observing and writing about the human state. He was equal to Shakespeare, Tolstoy, or Rand.
Thu, December 21, 2023
This is episode 84 of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast. Tonight I interview Father Michael Birdsong, Pastor of Saint Michael and All Angels Church in Thomaston, Georgia. Father Birdsong is an exorcist; a real exorcist. He's talking about the sometimes horrific details of exorcism in other podcasts. But for this episode I wanted to talk to him about the man he is, the life experiences that led him to the point that he could assume the role of exorcist. That's an even more fascinating story. I truly screwed up on the audio on my track, accidentally recording it with a laptop computer microphone, rather than a professional recording chain. Please forgive the faux-pas. It will not be repeated.
Wed, December 20, 2023
For the next five nights, Trailer Trash Terrors will publish one of the five "staves" or chapters of "A Christmas Carol," read by Vic Hermanson. This is Stave one, Marley's ghost, along with a few comments from the disembodied consciousness gang, and a whole new TTT intro.
Tue, December 12, 2023
EVPs have become a standard part of my podcast recording practice. They show up in almost all of my recordings. So, I thought I would share a few and speculate about where they come from. This show will probably be expanded at some point. Plus, the whole gang is here! Boudreaux starts the show, Wilbur tells us all about "...them Satanic Mind-worms," Annabelle Lee checks in with a few tidbits and Beelzebubba has a heartwarming Christmas message!
Fri, December 08, 2023
Trailer Trash Terrors, Episode 81, is the full expansion of the interview with Josh, which was the focus of episode 80. He relates, in even greater detail, his experiences with long-term demonic oppression, self harm, and his eventual spiritual healing. Josh, with the help of God, has converted this pain to strength, joy, and purpose. We end the interview talking about profound expressions of faith. Plus Beelzebubba is back!
Mon, December 04, 2023
This episode presents the story of Josh, a young man who has faced , survived, and overcome multiple demons, both figuratively and literally. This story is presented in his own words, in his own voice, with none of the usual Trailer Trash Terrors bells and whistles. This story is profoundly powerful. The recording also has multiple EVPs.

What is Eternity? Does the entire concept of things that never end scare the bejeebers out of you? It can often make Vic Hermanson tremble like a leaf! In this episode we talk about eternity in general and delve deep into the 1981 Stephen King short story, "The Jaunt." It's a great framework for examining the ramifications of a human mind encountering the eternal.
Wed, November 08, 2023
Trailer Trash Terrors goes back to it's basic roots...finding the horror and wonder of the swamps. They are places of mystery, horror, refuge, loneliness and despair. They are places where human minds build their own reality...100 percent independent of our will. Get you snake gaiters on...and let's go on an adventure!
Tue, October 17, 2023
How many microphones is too many? I don't know...but I've sure had a lot of fun trying to find out. I discuss an unusual photograph I found - a surprise momento mori. And, for the first time anywhere, learn all about the "Vic Hermanson Terror Scale." I'm pretty sure, once you hear it, you'll want to tell me how it should change!
Sat, October 14, 2023
Welcome to 76th overall episode of Trailer Trash Terrors! This is another TTT "grab-bag" episode. We talk about the third century crisis in the Catholic Church, the Arian Heresy, relate that to the current crisis in the Catholic Church and speculate, unapologetically, about the legitimacy of the Francis Papacy. The Courier Journal published the full written confession of the murderer HH Holmes in 1896. It's a chilling read, and an even more chilling listen. This is an insight into a mind that was...once...human.

This episode talks about Jane Goodall, her treatment by the media, De Loys' Ape, Incredulity, the execution method called Nupta Cadavera, The Einsatzgruppen, and the frailty of the human mind once it has become involved in evil. It's a standard Trailer Trash Terrors Fractal Ride. Or drunkard's walk...take your choice. Oh, by the way...I had to change the title...not because I was forced to do so, but because the original title made me feel like a jerk! I don't like feeling like a jerk.

This episode is all about an interview with a vampire. No, not that vampire, but Elizabeth, who contacted the vampire researcher Stephen Kaplan in the late 1970s. At that time she claimed to 439 years old. That means she would be pushin 500 years old in 2023. In the book "Vampires Are," Elizabeth relates her stories through a series of quite intense television interviews. No matter what question was thrown at her, she answerd immediately, without hesitation. This is a vampire interview you've never heard...but believe me, you need to!

This is part one of a two part series interviewing Keith, an excellent thinker and professional poker player I met through Facebook. Keith holds many views contrary to my own, such as the legitimacy of NASA, and the shape of the Earth, but I greatly enjoyed talking to him. Keith will return for a more in-depth episode in a few weeks. This episode also begins an exploration of the idea of the "phaneron," which is the world as perceived through our senses, and the filter of our experiences. This show is classic Trailer Trash Terrors, going where the ideas lead us.

This is the long-delayed, and long-running third episode of the TTT Antichrist Trilogy. What if the ultimate evil force in the universe had a right-hand man, a highly competent bureaucrat who had the job of gathering data to make to eventual apocalypse more efficient? You might think of him as a Satanic process optimizer! This episode answers that question, in great depth. Original speculative fiction by Vic Hermanson.

This episode is all about "quirky" movies. We cover three movies I find to be odd, offbeat, brilliantly executed, made with great love, and very quirky indeed. We talk about "They Might be Giants," starring George C. Scott and Joanne Woodward, "Ghost Dog," starring Forrest Whittaker and a whole gang of central casting gangster actors, and finally, "Resurrection from 1980. Where's the terror? Quite frankly, I needed a break from terror and all things devoid of joy. I hope you enjoy this episode. Let me know what your favorite quirky movies are.

S3 E2 · Wed, April 19, 2023
This episode is composed of a single story; one true and devastating story. There's nothing paranormal, nothing supernatural, not even anything particularly mysterious about this story, this experience. It's just a slice of humanity, both the good, and the bad, that will never leave my mind. It's the story of a six-rear-old boy, in an old Chevrolet, on the long and stifling road to Shreveport. It's a story I believe to be worth listening to.

Episode one of Season Three was made as a response to the "Eyes of the Devil" documentary. It covers organized child selling, buying, kidnapping, murder and organ harvesting. It's a deeply painful, confusing video. Listen to this episode first, then, better armed, move on to watching the video. After you do, please let me know what you think you saw.

This was an experiment to see if I could create a podcast from scratch, in less than two hours, in a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) that is not my normal editing tool. I normally use Audition. I used Studio One for this episode. It took me 1 hour 59 minutes and 18 seconds to final mixdown writeout. Oh...the topic? A reported living dinosaur, in the far north, hunted by British royalty in the early part of the twentieth century. It's good cryptozoology! This is not my very best work, but speed was of the essence!

In this episode we discuss the tragic but fascinating life of Rhoda Derry. Sylvia Shults, the historian who has studied her life more than anyone else, and Dutch psychiatrist Bert van der Laan, help me delve deeply into the life and history of "Rhody," who spent most of 44 years in a "Utica Crib," gouged out her own eyes, was studied by "alienists" worldwide, and just perhaps, created a tulpa before her life fully deteriorated. If you've never heard this story, you truly do need to listen. If you have heard it, you've never heard it told like this. This episode ends with a story of Moll Derry, the witch of the Monongahela, the supernatural celebrity of the time, and Rhoda's grandmother. This is the final episode of season two.
S2 E43 · Tue, March 07, 2023
This episode looks at death from a few different perspectives, both fictional and true. As always with TTT, the approaches we take are just a little "offbeat." This episode has two short stories: The first, "The Scapegoat and the Abba Hawk," is about an ER doctor who slips between lives. The second, "The Street of Plum Wine Dreams," tells a love story, with several supernatural elements, and is centered around a man who has sen, and felt more death than he can easily reconcile. He may be a man who has the chance to die peacefully, even though he was not able to fulfill all of his dreams. Oh...and we also cover some Momento Mori, and meet Wilbur the ethereal pest control expert! He's very high energy, and very cool, but is he really who he says he is?

It's a true theological and paranormal roller-coaster ride! A four hour and sixteen minute roller-coaster ride. It's true, long-form, paranormal podcasting!

Dr. Edward Teller is generally referred to as "The Father of the Hydrogen Bomb." He found that title to be in poor taste and dis not like it. In this episode, we listen to Dr. Teller explain the universe, with the best understanding the world had in 1957. What's changed? Not as much as you might expect. Also, horror ot horrors, or perhaps terror of terrors, Vic Hermanson is trapped in the "waiting room," and has no idea how to get back to temporal reality!

This is episode thirty of season two, of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast. The guest this week is JJ, the founder, host and resident genius (He knows Ge'ez. Nuf said!) of the totally unique podcast, Southern Demonology. He's being interviewed straight from Nippon, The Land of the Rising Sun, Straight from the shadow of Fugaku, or Mount Fuji, on of Japan's three holy mountains. I contend that JJ knows more about semitic languages, Second Temple Judaism, and the academic Judeo-Christian description of good and evil than any other we developer in the world. We cover how Japan has changed, Japanese ghosts, Japanese monsters, the Japanese retail paradise, the suicide forest, how Covid has changed everything in Japan, and much, much more. Also this week, we meet Beelzebubba, or if you prefer, Mr Beelzebubba, the Trailer Trash demon. He's now on the Trailer Trash Terrors payroll full time! He's a reformed minion of innate cosmic evil, and a former principality of putrescence from out Tupelo way. Now, he's on the side of good and just trying to earn an honest living! Plus, he can sing!
