If they can keep it, things might be looking up, at least a little bit. | We miss meaningful hockey in this town, but it might be closer than we think now that they've moved on from Torts. Love, Hurts
The Eagles are Super Bowl LIX CHAMPIONS!!! The birds walked into the Superdome with one goal in mind...dismantle the Chiefs and finish the season-long goal of winning a Super Bowl...and damn did they ever. In STUNNING fashion, the Eagles blew the doors off of the Chiefs in one of the most lopsided Super Bowls in modern history. Jalen Hurts was ON-POINT. The Chiefs game plan clearly focused on Saquon, Hurts took it to the Chiefs and made them pay with multiple highlight-reel throws. The defense had one of the greatest Super Bowl performances of all-time, led by a front 4 attack that was just absolutely decimating the Chiefs O-line. Picks by Coop and Baun sealed the deal and the Eagles won a COMFORTABLE Super Bowl. Wild.

Here we go...the Linc will HOST the NFC Championship Game this weekend between the Eagles and Commanders after a wild upset last weekend in Detroit. One thing is for certain...the Linc will be ready and rocking on Sunday. The Eagles have an opportunity to reach 2 Super Bowls in 3 seasons. What we're wondering; Jalen Hurts knee condition? Cam Jurgens availability? Dallas Goedert injured again? Quinyon Mitchell status? When you look up and down these two rosters, it's clear the Eagles are the better team. Facing the 30th ranked rush defense in the NFL, look for Saquon to continue to play a huge role for the birds on Sunday (captain obvious). GO BIRDS!!!

Round 2 Rematch
The birds easily dispatched a decimated Packers team in the wild card weekend, and now eye a rematch with the LA Rams...this time in the friendly confines of the LINC. This game will be won and lost, as many are, in the trenches. If the Eagles continue to have the elite line play they have had on both sides of the ball, the result should be one we are all happy with... Kenny thinks they win easy. Dave is a little more cautious. We shall see how it all plays out!

Jason Kelce gave us 13 years and he is the definition of a player that embodies the city of Philadelphia. He will be missed...no question. The Eagles are preparing for their first round ROAD playoff game with the Tampa Bay Bucs, and we have a QUITTER on our hands... | The Eagles look to get on the right track Monday Night against the Tampa Bay Bucs. Well...they did it...they went and lost a must-win game at home to Jonathan Gannon, the villain from the end of last season. Good times. We dive into all things Eagles, the playoff scenarios, the AJ Brown comments (WOW), and many many more things. College Football delivered some of the best playoff action we have seen in a long time, and it will all culminate next Monday night (Kenny's Birthday). The Natty seems like it will deliver the DRAMA this year. Should be a blast. Embiid doing nothing but scoring 30 or more every game and still being looked down on by the league...it's LOL. The Phillies extend Topper for a year basically so they don't have to answer the question after every damn game, and we love the move. The Eagles got absolutely demolished by the Niners...and there's no break in sight... The team is 10-2 and it couldn't feel much worse...are we spoiled by this team's success over the last few years? Snakes Fight Back
The Phillies have moved on the NLCS to face the AZ Diamondbacks and took a rather commanding 2-0 lead in the series and had all of the momentum until Thursday Night. Series is now 2-1. The D-Backs fought for their lives (literally) Thursday night to take Game 3 of the NLCS. We still believe the Phillies are the better team, and they will get it done....we shall see. The Eagles are 5-1 and it just doesn't feel amazing...something is off with this team, and we're not sure what...the next few weeks will tell us a ton. Kenny is going to the game Sunday, and as always, won't remember any of it...looking forward to that recap...lmao Penn State takes on Ohio State this weekend in possibly their first "getable" matchup in years. OSU is the most beatable they've been in a while so if PSU is gonna do something about it...it's this weekend.

Home Field
Mission accomplished...well, kinda. The Phillies went to Atlanta and did what they needed to do...win one game to steal home field advantage. The only problem is the way that Game 2 ended...woof. PAIN. Will the Phils use the raucous CBP to their advantage and close the series at home? Or will the Braves spoil the party and continue their record-breaking season? You all know where we stand... The BIRDS are 5-0...damn. They just look like they can win against anyone right now. In one of the craziest drafts we've seen in some time, the Eagles end up trading up one spot (for peanuts) to grab what seems to have been their guy all along...Jalen Carter. ESPN immediately did the kid wrong with the graphics, which was just ridiculous...but whatever...many of us were team Bijan, but it's time to move on. The Eagles then had one of the STEALS of the night with Nolan Smith sliding down the draft to #30. That's TWO MORE Georgia Bulldogs on this Eagles defense that is, no doubt, stronger today than it was before the draft started. Absolutely WILD. All Of The Pain
Well...this sucks... The Eagles were CRUISING in Super Bowl LVII...until they weren't. Pat Mahomes and the KC Chiefs figured something out at halftime and completely turned the tides in the 2H to take SBLVII. Jalen Hurts had a phenomenal game, albeit NOT mistake free, and it just wasn't enough to offset the defensive and special teams shortcomings in the second half.
