Where the Wild Things Are
Listen to us, Theo and Mandy talk about this amazing childrens book adaptation. It truly is incredible how the story was expanded from a short picture book into a cinematic masterpiece! Directed and co-writen by Spike Jonze, this film does so much for the world of story telling, cinematogrophy and costume design. The 2000's had so many great films, this is one of them coming out in 2009. Our score: 4.5

Listen to us, Theo and Mandy talk about this popular Chinese film. Originally this film opened up in 2002 in China to a huge audiance and box office success. American director, Quentin Tarantino was so enthroled with this film that he convinced the Los Angeles Miramax studio to get American distribution rights and share this movie! The film has a great story based of of actual historical events and sureal fight sequences. Our score: 3.5 ALERT, SPOILERS!

Listen to us, Theo and Mandy talk about this 22 year old classic film. I would call this a modern classic concidering the release date of 10/5/2001. Denzel Washington was amazing and Ethan Hawke was right there to take he hits. Great directing, writing and cinematography make this film a must see for the appropriate audiance. This love story is based off Song's actual experience and was too intersting not to develop. Great acting, writing and cinematography propelled this enjoyable fim into our hearts. Manchester by the Sea
Most movies it is nice to have a box of popcorn but in this case, you'll need a box of tissues. A heart wrenching and dramatic story that has you the whole way through. Award winning acting from Casey Affleck and award winning writing/ directing from Kenneth Lonergan. Released on November 18, 2016 this film is a slow and cold journey. It is worth watching if you enjoy great acting and writing and you enjoy a true drama.

If you want to enjoy a film that explores the complications of real life struggles, look no further. From one of our favorite directors Hirokazu Kore-eda, comes the very human tale of pride, family dynamics and loss. Released on May 21, 2016 in Japan. Hirokazu Kore-eda also wrote and editied this film.

Batman Beyond
Batman Beyond was an awesome show that aired on WB KIDS from January 10, 1999 - September 4, 2000. After 52 episodes spanning three season and one film, the series ended to make room for Justice League animated series. We loved this show as kids and really enjoy revisiting it in our adult years. Nostalgia wins again.
