First things first Tori and Krysti got to actually tour Hannah House! They went to the Hannah House Paranormal Day Celebration and met a ton of awesome local spooky folks. Check out the pics on our Insta and FB pages, it was a blast. Tori starts us off in the great state of Wisconsin at the House on the Rock, tourist trap extraordinaire. A road side attraction in Spring Green Wisconsin, both of us were made aware of this bizarre slice of Americana due to the work of Neil Gaiman in his book American Gods. Built by Alex Jordan Jr. in 1945 on Deer Shelter Rock this place spawned stories almost immediately. Alex kept building onto the complex until his death in 1989. The story of Alex Jordan and his feud with Frank Lloyd Right is legendary to this day, emphasis on the “legend.” Now other than it’s sheer amount of “antiques” this warren of odd turns and interesting fakeries captivates travellers to this day. Krysti brings us to Sprague Mansion in Cranston, Rhode Island. Built by William Sprague in 1790 as part of a working farm and expanded as the town was taken over by the grist mill turned cotton mill. Legends about former owner’s murders, conniving siblings, wrongfully accused, and of course conspiracy theories are woven through this story. Hauntings abound here, from EVPs, temp changes, orbs (insert eye roll here), and things/people touched.
