On this mini-yarn I delve into more detail on my experiences dealing with burnout, and what I've learnt as part of the recovery process. I yarn about getting reacquainted with my emotions, nervous system, and physical body, and acknowledging how these shifts are benefitting my health. This includes a good boat metaphor, as well as me explaining how I have conversations with myself!
I also talk about giving myself permission to own language to describe my experiences and health status, how empowering that feels, and why I haven't felt comfortable to do this until now.
